  • I was finally able to continue my challenge and beat TGM in glorious combat. Apparently mega scizor can take a +1 waterfall from mega gyara in the rain. Learn something new everyday.

A general notification - ScraggyTrainer and TGM have switched places within the 3DS League, Scraggy Trainer is now a Fire / Fairy type elite, and TGM is a Water / Ground type Gym Leader.

  • Congratulations to our new champion! I'm glad you achieved it! We might have an open spot for you in the division and will welcome you as a gym leader with open arms. The few, the proud the gym leaders :)

Wait... urggghh *scratches head* you get the point hahaha.

  • The 3DS division, and I usually keep my team a surprise until the first battle.

How are we the gym leaders prepared for a battle if we don't know what we will face. It's not that we counter every single pokémon off you but it's a bit unfair that the first gym leader you face has no idea what pokémon he should bring.

  • Elf actually did that too, it's fine - once the first battle happens though, the team he's using has to be posted in this thread and documented in the OP. It's not for battle purposes, like countering or anything - it's just to make sure there's no shenanigans like switching members out or anything.

Anyone after the first leader he challenges can totally wait to accept until his team's visible in the thread anywho.

But ay welcome back Jared :D I remember you were blowin' through the league last time you were here. Good luck on your second run mate ^^

  • Gastrodon tho :O

I don't think you have to specify which Rotom variant you're going to use either (Nah and Polar, correct me if I'm wrong).

I can see WHY I wouldn't have to. And I can also see other Rotom Forms being able to be used too since they are technically different forms of the same species.

  • The weather war: most trainers quake in frustration at the very thought of it, recalling seasons long past whence sun, sand, and rain dominated the battlefield.

Today's Aqueduct scrimmage tested the clout of two trainers well trained in the art of the weather war. TGM, touting his famed Milotic alongside a Politoed, Ludicolo, and a host of Ground-types fitted for sand battles, took skyburial by surprise in the third turn when he traded his Gliscor in order to Focus Blast the hearty Tyranitar, leveling the playing field for a proper weather war and securing a more favorable means to outmaneuver his opponent.

However, with their might combined, the core of Charizard, Venusaur, and skyburial's beloved Gastrodon were able to pull through with the help of the ever-threatening Support Gengar.
