  • Hey! I rarely do threads so here we go (also feel free to move it!)

Are you an Introvert? Or an Extrovert?

Don't know what it means? I'll help you out.
    Spoiler:

For me I'm an Introvert. I don't hate people, I'm just not used to interacting with groups of people. I'd rather prefer reading a book, posting in PC, listenting to music, etc. Talking with a lot of people makes me nervous (especially if I don't know anybody)

    What about you? :)

I'm a very social person, and I like interacting with people a lot, but damn if I don't need to be alone sometimes. Social interaction is exhausting, as fun as it is. I'd say I'm an introvert in the sense that I definitely recharge by having time alone, but I'm more of an extrovert in that I do really enjoy interacting with people.

  • I do like to interact more for improving my social skills ( might be helpful in future). I do not like to be alone most of the time because I feel bored and lonely. However, I tend to give myself a personal space to do something serious.

I consider myself an introvert. I can't really speak to anyone my age as not many people like me anyways (in real life). The ones willing to speak to me usually don't share any interests with me. So being online gives me a chance to socialize which I usually don't have. I general, though I enjoy being alone in my room browsing the internet.

  • I consider myself an Introvert. I need my alone time everyday to recharge my batteries. Crowds and People drain me. I can't see a group for more than like 2 hours.

  • I'm an introvert IRL, and prefer to keep my interactions only with people I know, I'm very shy. After I befriend you though, I open up more and never keep quiet haha

Online, I find it easier to talk to people.

  • I've been told I'm an extrovert who lives like an introvert. I love social stuff and being around people (even if it's just chilling in the same room) but I only like being social with particular people. I'd be more than happy for the majority of the population to leave me alone.

  • Introvert with extrovert qualities. I prefer to be alone but I get really sad if I'm alone for too long. Love being around people, but get exhausted if I'm around them for too long. My desire to be around people plus my inability to communicate as well as I'd like is not a fun combination. I don't think introversion/extroversion is a black and white thing.

  • I'm an extrovert.

I would so much rather go out and be with people than spend an entire night on the internet, haha. I do enjoy having my time on the internet, but I get antsy after a while, and need to go somewhere or do something after a while.

i'm an introvert to the point where it actually can be problematic at times. like i actually don't have a desire to talk to people, at all. i always have to force myself to talk to anyone, even my closest friends. which it sounds really mean when i say it like that but that's the best way i can think of to describe it accurately. it's not that i don't like interacting with people necessarily, and i always have lots of fun when i'm interacting with my friends and i'm always open to talking to people when they initiate the conversation. it's just when i'm on my own i don't feel the need to go out of my way to talk to anyone at all and i end up just spending all my time by myself and doing whatever.

luckily i work in heavily customer service oriented jobs, because it forces me to spend time around people. but that can get pretty exhausting sometimes. i've always hated parties and big social events, and i honestly can't be in a group of more than a couple other people unless i know everyone super well, because i'll just shut down. it's frustrating because sometimes i end up isolating myself way too much and i break down. so i've been trying to get better at talking to people! i think in addition to being extremely introverted i also just have anxiety issues so that makes talking to people even more difficult, but i'm trying to put myself in "uncomfortable" situations to try to improve on that as well.

being involved in an online community like this again has been helping a little bit too, in a way. c: i just need to put myself out there more, online and in person and wherever.

I'm introverted to the point that I would 100% be labeled as a hermit if I could lol. Idk if it's because I've grown up as an only child without many cousins in the same age group or what, but I'm more comfortable on my own than in large crowds. I do enjoy socializing though, just sparingly.

Yeah, describes a lot about me actually. But when I'm with my friends, I can go wild sometimes though :P. I have a brother but he's younger than me so I don't really socialize with him very well.

I used to believe I was more of an introvert, but tests I took most often put me as extrovert. Truth is probably that I don't quite fit into that scale and am some kind of in between and to the side thingy. :3 I love being around people I can be myself with and relax and have fun, but I also badly need my me-time now and then.

Introverted. I enjoy being around my friend once or twice a month. I don't like living with people, I'm glad I live with my grandmother; she's the only person I actually enjoy living with because she doesn't want to frequently engage in small talk and she won't bother me throughout the day (she's probably introverted too.)

Is it possible to be a shy extrovert?
I'm slightly shy at first but once the convo gets going I warm up to people easily. I'm not the loudest person but I do thrive off of social stuff. I don't prefer being alone, even though that's my life lately. (lel I need to make more friends)
I only go online a lot because I have nothing better to do, but when I do have a social life you'll literally never see me online and I'd rather be out doing stuff all day than sit at home. Jeez I need that back lol.

  • I'm introvertively extrovert I guess. I'm more of an introvert since I'm quiet and shy and such, but I'm very borderline.
I preferably like to spend time with people rather than be on my own and often take up the whole leader responsibility which gives me my extroverted side.

  • I'm introvert. I easily get tired when socializing in parties and I prefer talking to one or two specific persons rather that to a group of people. Although sometimes, when I'm in the mood or just generally enthusiastic, I tend to be the life of a party, given that the people in it are the people I've known and friends with for a long time.
