Hello one and all and welcome to the one and only club for Undertale on PC. For those of you whom don't know, Undertale is a recent game created by one Mr. Toby Fox that has been taking the internet by storm. With an incredible branching story that changes depending on how you decide to play the game. What's your philosophy? Is the world of an RPG really just kill or be killed? Undertale is a game that questions that idea and through it's game play forces people to make that decision for themselves.

With a cast of lovable characters, a story that brings a tear to the eye, a charming art style, fun gameplay and an amazing soundtrack, Undertale is quickly spreading throughout the internet and through some of PC's circles. If you're a fan of the game and want to represent it then please, all are welcome to join!

And answering a couple discussion topics:

Why did you choose Undyne/Sans as your favourite character? What do you like about them?
I only started to really like these guys after playing Genocide, because it was really cool to see the "other side" of them. Sans (to me) is probably still the most mysterious character and I love that he can be so goofy and chill, but if you piss him off, you're gonna have a bad time.

I didn't like Undyne as much in the other runs, but I really appreciated her more in Genocide when she took that blow for the kid and became "the heroine" through her determination, that was pretty cool. The "cooking lesson" was hilarious too, so again, I love that she can be so badass and so goofy at the same time.

Also, both of their battle themes are really, really good.

Why did you choose Lesser Dog as your favourite monster? What do you like about them?
I have a weakness for dogs and I loved all the dogs of Undertale, but I diieed laughing when I pet Lesser Dog into oblivion and for that, I'd have to say he's probably my favourite.

What routes have you completed in the game? How do you feel after completing them?

Spoiler: Pacifist

I don't even know where to start about the Pacifist run other than it was nothing like what I expected (but to be fair, nothing in this game was like what I expected). I thought I'd get a cute little extra scene patting you on the back for not killing anything, but I didn't expect another 1-2 hours of gameplay (depending on how much time you spend walking around afterwards, and you bet I checked every single crack in the wall and snow poff in the underground) that tied up most of the loose ends so nicely. I always wondered if Flowey served as anything more than a villain that was evil to the core just because, and again, the way this game answered my question just completely exceeded my expectations.

I also really appreciated how it gave Alphys' character a bit more depth. I loved her as a cute, comic relief/support character but it's so cool that Toby gave actual, meaningful reasons behind all her little quirks too - why she has so many unopened letters in her lab, why she's so afraid of answering the phone, etc.

and poor goat bb deserved a better ending :'(

Spoiler: Genocide

First of all, I loved how meta Flowey's speech in New Home was. "It all started because I was curious". That's why we all went down the Genocide route, right? We all just wanted to see what would happen, and even if we "didn't like it", we'd go as far as we could just to see what would happen. It was pretty cool they addressed that in the game.

I've never simultaneously wanted to win and lose at the same time like I did here - it was conflicting, wanting to progress to see the end of it but also feeling bad about killing all the charming and loveable characters I had befriended in a different timeline ("YES I FINALLY BEAT- oh wait I just murdered Undyne ").

I also really liked all the differences in the ways you can interact with people and things, like killing the snowman piece by piece until he becomes a useless puddle of snow. It's a lot of pretty dark stuff, but I appreciate that kind of detail, really helped drive home the point that you're an awful person.

ahh, Papyrus is just the best character! simply because literally every interaction with him in the game has either been funny, endearing or otherwise amazing. i mean, even just from the first phone interaction you have with him... ''HOW DID I GET THIS NUMBER? I JUST DIALED EVERY NUMBER SEQUENTIALLY UNTIL I GOT YOURS!'' omfg Papyrus you went through all that trouble just to talk to me?! it's really no wonder Sans and Undyne love him so much either. and like, how he was the one to get everyone together at the end, even if it ended up being a trick by Flowey... not even mentioning the fabled Skeledate you go on with him <3

I downloaded this game because iv seen so many lets players playing it but havnt played yet and didnt really want spoilers so really only saw the first 5 or 10 minutes and really enjoyed, if i like somethink i dont like to spoil the game by watching a lets player play the game. How long is the game though all together and the game fighting mechanics are different but very fun.

This...this game. I've already smothered it with love on various websites so I'll save everyone from too much of my praise. x3 It's definitely my favorite game in a long, long time, and it's the only thing period (movie/game etc) that can make me cry like a baby when seeing just some scenes of the game on YouTube. No matter how long it is in the future, I can watch five minutes of an Undertale scene and cry like my first playthrough. It's...just powerful.

It's extremely frustrating that none of my real life friends want to play this game. I've even gift it to some of them for their bdays but they aren't interested. Maybe they think the graphics is 'bad' or some sort. Sigh.

But anyway, I'm here.

Also, as a video game composer, I've made two remixes of Undertale. I'm proud that one of the now has 20k views! ^^ Please enjoy.

Well, a few friends and I love Toriel the most! She's one of the more basic characters in the game, yes, but she's...such a motherly figure. Some would expect her to betray you at the Ruins (as most games do that to you nowadays) but she's purely good. I think that within all of us, we all yearn for a Toriel, someone that can really just make you feel safe and warm under her care. That's what I need anyways, that's why I really love her. I want someone like her in my life, essentially.

I'm gonna go ahead an answer one of the topics. Specifically about why I chose my favorite character- Papyrus specifically. (Also yes I did really spend an hour fangirling over him with Nagi. Seriously.)

- Why did you choose Papyrus as your favourite character? What do you like about them?

I'd have to say that Papyrus is my favorite character because he's, in my opinion, the funniest. And because he's incredibly nice. c: And I'm a sucker for nice people. At first my initial impressions of him weren't all that great, but as we went on I realized how harmless and absolutely hilarious he is. Honestly dating him was one of my favorite parts of the game because he was just so funny and he's just so nice. c: Later on there were some really funny moments, like where he shares a picture of him with biceps taped to his arms, and he's wearing sunglasses, and his biceps are also wearing biceps. Or at the end of the Pacifist run where he says he caught tears in his eyes. But my favorite part was the first call he makes to you. "How did I get this number? Easy! I just sequentially dialed every number until I got yours."

That's still my favorite line in the entire game.

-Why I chose Toriel as my favourite character?
I chose Toriel because she's such a loving motherly figure, and has an amusing humorous side too.
-Why I chose Temmie as my favourite monster?
Temmie is so cute and funny, all of her dialogue is super fun to read. She'll make a good parent for her egg...
-What routes I've completed and how I felt?
I've completed a neutral route and then a pacifist route. When I did the neutral route, I felt sad when I killed Toriel as she would never have killed me. And when I got to the final boss I was pretty amazed and disgusted at it. The ending of the pacifist route actually made me a bit teary and made me feel sympathy for the last boss too. And a certain area near the end was just plain creepy.

Hi! :D I'm late but t's a pleasure to join, hopefully you're still checking up and adding new club members. Just beat the game in neutral and then true pacifist endings about half an hour ago.

The story is very unique and the characters are all extremely lovable, also the music is wooonderful. I've already replayed Undyne's battle theme 100 times probably lol.
