Oh hey I was just thinking about with regards to my flying type issue the other day. Is the Spearow line still normal/flying? I ask because Spearow and Fearow would actually make sense as a pure flying type since unlike Pidgeot, Fearow can't really use Roost to best effect since it lacks bulk of any sort. Plus since gen 5 it's gotten a good enough movepool that it can go without using a normal attack in a moveset anyway. I will use Honchkrow or Xatu regardless anyway but I figured I'd mention it since Feaow in particular was one I felt should have been a pure flying type since the series' beginning.


Also since I decided to start my game over I wanted to make use of that data file you offered to help the bulbasaur line learn Swift, but I can't connect to the page with the download you linked a few weeks ago when I first brought up the issue with the Offer attack. Can you give me another link for that file to get Swift?

Uh oh, I just saw a Nidoran Male that was listed as a Female. You might wanna look into the gender-specific species to make sure they have the right setting.

Hi. I've been playing through the game and have been really enjoying it. I've just finished the events on the SS Anne and have noticed a couple of small things that you might want to fix to make this great game even better. I've put them in the spoiler.

Spoiler:

The bug catcher in Viridian city who asks if you want to learn about bugs changes to red text when you decline.
You can walk on some of the roofs in Viridian city (they're green)
The map connection in between Viridian city and Route 2 is two tiles off resulting in the trees and fences not connecting.
When Bill offers pokemon to you the Gothitha option is not available unless if you cancel then talk to him again.
The Vermillion city pokemon center uses a different door graphic for the event to other pokemon centers (it uses the gym one).
The captain says that cut is a strong grass move but when I taught it to bulbasaur it was still a normal type move.

Anyway thanks for making such a great game!

I thought I was supposed to go to Sable City first but now I have my rival following me with his team at over level 50 and my strongest is at level 16.

I've uploaded a fixed, full download version to reddit. Same place as always. As long as you haven't saved after the battle you should be able to move after winning or losing and be able to return to Kanto.
