6th Gen Third Version Speculation

I've put-together a new third version speculation thread for us, since we have a bit too many pages in our last one causing lag (load delay, double posts, and so forth). Hopefully, this'll help; let's go wild!

Anyways as I was saying I don't think we'll get an announcement in the commercial. I feel like GF and Nintendo would pick some medium that is more Worldwide. Unless if they time it so that it'll air while they unveil it to the rest of the world by Social media. Some foreigners follow the Super Bowl (at least Brazilians) on social media so maybe.

When you´re talking about the seventh generation, then I think that GameFreak are preparing some stuff for surprising us!!! Something real new that never ever happened in Pokémon games.

Idk maybe some new stuff like better graphic designs...
maybe a new handheld or an apprenticeship-system would be cool too and skateboards and you could maybe drive or be driven by someone, you could also take a taxi and pay for each time you take the taxi. or you can call the taxi and pay. Then new stuff would be really cool, like the apprenticeship-system I'd told, you could go to school make the school and learn all the stuff you need, depending on which thing you want to make apprenticeship for. Then they could also make a system (like THE SIMS system) so your playable character can become hungry, can have the feeling of be in love with someone, depending on their sex. They can have the need of taking a shower. They can also use the toilette. They can chit-chat with each other, make friendships and they could also marry and live with you in the same house, you could later buy with your amount of money you gain with your work you could have it with your apprenticeship. The game could be like in real life, but just fits with the Pokémon Game. This could happen in the 7th Generation with maybe new Pokémons for Kalos or maybe they can make it with the 8th Generation or in the future, when they have the Idea. I know in future they will make it :)

At this stage I don't care when and where and how they are gonna announce 'Z'.

I'm just hoping that they won't be moving to Gen 7 quietly...

I certainly expect some hints to Gen VII in the anime starting soon. Even during 2004 the anime revealed new mons like Munchlax despite Emerald not even having been released yet when they did.

Anyways I hope we get something next month. It's getting old to anticipate each month and get nothing...

I haven't heard your insight and thoughts over the Ash-Greninja. :P

Something tells me it's a Mega Evolution that doesn't require a Mega Stone. Maybe this Mega Evolution is acquired through a new move + high Amie points. High Amie points to emphasize the strong connection and bond between the trainer and the starter Pokemon, hence the similar appearance to their trainer. In the anime's case we have Ash's Greninja who took its trainer's look. It is heavily implied to be a Mega Form, due to its rivalry with Sawyer's Mega Sceptile and its ability to revert its form back to the standard form.

Wulfric appearance in the XY&Z opening might imply that he won't be replaced in Z version, though he might receive the 'Drayden treatment'. The missing Grass Pokemon from Ash's team also indicates that he might catch a new, as in never-seen-before Grass Pokemon. This Pokemon could be a Gen 6.5 Pokemon or even a Gen 7 Pokemon, or a known Grass-type Pokemon that will be featured on the 4th Kalos dex (if we follow the Southern Kalos speculation).

No hints from what i can see, just a few references to the games/anime. Pretty cool looking, even if we all know GO won't be like that lol.

Edit: I've watched it again, i think it's more promoting the brand than anything, which is probably a good thing considering they've only got 30 seconds.

Yeah, it's promoting the 20th anniversary and the brand itself, nothing Pokemon GO-related. I still really liked it though, caught some of the little references in there. If anything, it's got me pumped about whatever surprise we get in CoroCoro, even though the two may not be related at all. There was a web address at the end too, Pokemon20.com. Pretty interesting stuff, all the nostalgic feels. I wonder what else they plan on using that website for other than sharing posts and tweets from fans?

Extremely disappointing and possibly the worst Super Bowl commercial I have seen. Why just have a commercial like that that probably cost like $3,000,000?

But I guess train on could be a phrase meaning, "Relax, we know you are getting annoyed with no game, but continue to train on and it will pay off."

They do appear to have taken cues from the GO commercial.

Speaking of 20, 'Z' if it's a single game will be the 20th game, discounting the three remake pairs.

So the 20th main game for the 20th anniversary.

Wasn't the earth-shattering comment for Corocoro anyway? I think people are getting the Corocoro info and the commercial mixed up. I don't think the commercial was ever suppose to be earth-shattering.

Uh, that's Corocoro (the earth shaking hyped one I mean) , which we have yet to see. Hopefully it'll at least live up to what sounds like a pun.

I'm a bit underwhelmed by everything the pokemon company has done since ORAS. Pokemon GO doesn't seem that appealing to me for 2 reasons.

1. It's on a mobile device, which I hardly ever use.
2. Its more centered around multiplayer, which I don't like.

Honestly though, I thought that commercial was really awesome. Even though I started out with Crystal instead of the original RBY, it still makes me look back and it's also making me look forward. I'd say the commercial is doing its job, at least on my end. :D

Aw, I liked how it was started by a relative n00b (me, actually) and then just kind of snowballed from there. But, since we were having technical difficulties…eh, sure, let's roll this Poochyena and keep speculating.

I thought it was pretty strange to release it this early, but then I had to remind myself that there are some other Super Bowl commercials that I have seen come out on YouTube several days before the game itself. But still, the majority of them don't make it to Youtube until after they've aired on TV.

This is gonna sound strange and grasping at straws, but I'm wondering if they showcased the longer version this early to get it out of the way for something else planned for that same weekend... maybe so that the commercial and whatever it is I'm talking about wouldn't overshadow each other specifically for the Internet audience? I don't know, I just thought it was strange to get the full version of the commercial this early, two weeks ahead to be exact.
