Huh, I totally missed this section of the board. Hello :D
Trailblazer is what I would like to be an RMXP game. The recent Pokemon Essentials wiki is a fun read. Sadly, I know nothing about programming, though the starter kit looks easier to use than hacking. Is it easy to use?? Also, all of my Fakemon would be in it :3
Trailblazer takes place in a region modeled loosely after America in the late 1800s/early 1900s. Of course there is some technology like Pokeballs. The PC system would be a massive vacuum with pipes that run underground throughout the region. Many Pokemon who live in the region have unusual type combinations like Electric/Ground and Normal/Ghost. The Pokemon league is relatively new, hence the title of "Trailblazer".
There are some unique environments like a giant log, a cave which holds a hidden forest (a hole in the ceiling lets sunlight in), trees massive enough to allow one to walk through the canopy, an abandoned city in a desert cave, and more.
Pokemon can also be found in some unusual places, like bushes, under rocks, and hidden in statues. One may even find an egg in a hidden nest which has a random chance of hatching into whatever Pokemon is found in the area.
