  • you just made the best post that i have ever seen

truly. madly. deeply. i am in love with you.

    marry me.
Yeah I don't like Magners either.. haha! And yeah- I used to use it and MSN so much! Now... not really..
No worries whenever you have the time :3
If you like em really sweet, then perhaps you'd also like Rekordelig (I think that's spelled correctly..) Stella makes a beer but their cider is still nice IMO. It's a tad dryer than Koppaberg but not as dry as Magners. Perhaps you should also try Aspall's blackberry cider. That one is also pretty sweet!

I'm honestly horrible with knowing computer specs and all that too.. I'm actually not a huge PC gamer.. and just tend to prefer handheld gaming.
You do need to open up something in Canada :P! And yeah.. agree with you on Wetherspoons, but taco bell is much, much worse IMO. I remember seeing on some sort of nutritional info from them "edible but not recommended." Haha.. oh dear..

BTW got a skype handle or something? Or prefer chatting here? I don't mind, really! Just asking!
Well that's good!! Glad you're in a clean place. I guess I've just visited too many homes with major mould problems (especially when looking for a flat when moving here.) It is crazy.. in Canada that place would get torn down in an instant.. and here it's the norm.

Yeah... no.. Taco bell is nasty. I don't even know if it's real meat. Everything is processed except for the small bits of lettuce and tomato they sprinkle on the top of the tacos.
And it is wasteful but it's not really a standard or anything so none of the supermarkets practice it. And damn.. I wish a pint was 2 quid here..
If you like cider you should try the Stella Artois Cidre! It's really nice IMO!

Uh.. I don't know how profits work, sorry.. that sort of finance stuff is way over my head but every sale does help the studio. I can't really say about hours; enough that I would be credited on the games, though!
i was about to comment on that specific part of your sig, it lost its comedic value quite a while ago, cmon george you're better than this
    im scared, believe me.

youve had the same av and sig for so long, i dont know how i would survive if i were you
some things have not gone the way i wanted them to, but im trying to keep my head up. sorry about that, why not just stay home?
Not a pressing need to be mould-free? I'm sorry but do you like to breathe fresh air?

And yeah, I know the Welsh are their own species lol!
I don't think our Subways are actually better.. I think people just view it as better since comparatively there's so many other horrible options out there that Subway is actually decent. Compare it with Taco Bell or something.
Canada does not "reduce" stuff going off at the end of the day like Britain does, which IMO is really smart. Canada just leaves it full price and then chucks it. BOO.
No, I do like your shops. Stuff's just different. Eating out here is HELLA expensive, but grocery store shopping is cheap, which I actually prefer. Maybe for you it's different because you're further from London so stuff is cheaper and you don't have to pay a fiver for a pint.

Most recent one I've worked on is Total War: Attila. The other projects are unannounced so I can't say anything about it :P Sorry! NDAs and all that!
People make fun of the way I say some things. Like Derby.. why the heck is it DARBY. It should be DEHRBY; not DAWRBY. Wtf you crazy brits??

    ANYWAY..
Snow: yes. It's so crazy hearing people say "It's SNOWING guys! MIRACLE!" and I'm like.. "man.. that's just sleet. It's not even staying on the ground."
Housing: Why the heck is it so normal for houses to have MOULD and SHITTY WINDOWS? And they're SO expensive and the walls are all paper thin. And WTF washing machine in the kitchen. So weird to me, still. Housing is very expensive in the UK.
Shops: Close at ridiculously early hours. Canada does not, by law, sell alcohol in any place that is not solely a licensed liquor retailer owned by the government. No beer in the supermarkets back in Canada. Also.. buying fresh bakery dough is not a thing here.. pie dough or pizza dough is either ready-made or ready-made and frozen. Food-to-go is bigger in supermarkets here. Subway in Canada is actually a healthy option and not the greasy option it is here. Coffee tastes MUCH better here from chain coffee shops. You guys don't have REAL doughnuts- you have really horrible bready jam-filled.. bread. You guys also don't have blue corn tortillas. Veal escalopes are super cheap in Canada and here they're like 7 quid for 2 teeny ones. You guys also don't have size 2 in womens shoes making it VERY difficult for me to buy new freaking boots! Your return policy is so much better than Canada (28 instead of 7 or 14.) Ok, I'll leave it at that for now.
Yes the job alone; I'm a game developer at Sega.

    Goodnight! Get better soon!
Aahh I know Maccrash on here but never really spoke to him on skype or anything! He is a fun guy :3 Maybe I say Glasgow similarly haha- I dunno!
And yep, moved over a little over 3 years ago. Landed a job in my field out of uni (which is fairly hard to do since it's so competitive) and been working here ever since. Yeah I do miss some things from back home but here is actually quite nice. No relatives here, though! Just me!
If I have to speak about my thoughts on either country I could probably write a book.. is there an aspect you want my opinion on specifically? Housing? Grocery stores? General day-to-day stuff? Weather?
I know it's not much further north either but I was honestly thinking like UP THERE like near Glasgow or something!
Well at least you don't get asked "where are you from?" all the time because I have a Canadian accent. I even got asked today at the gym! CANNOT ESCAPE IT.
And yeah it'll deffo be worth it.
That's not even that north! I was around Manchester for the Christmas holidays! Do you have a typical Liverpoolian accent? :3 SCOUSE?

Good luck with all of those exams, though!
    What like Newcastle or something?

Ah so what section of finance are you in? And how many exams will you have in the coming months?
@_@ I am so glad I am done with tests haha.. not that I actually mind taking them, or studying for them.. but it's the time leading up to them that makes me super nervous!
