(which shouldn't happen), thenI'll take it back for some kind of freebie of your choosing (provided I have it). :) The Event started in March and was available at various VGC Events, which explains the May date (Championships in August had the Flying Pikachu).

I don't mind giving out freebies in any case; some people are just starting their game or working on an Unova Dex with nothing else at the time, so I can't ask for much. ;)

This wasn't to check legitimacy, this was to do the actual trade. Do you not have the Deoxys and Shaymin right now?

FYI, I'm just leveling SoulSilver imports for the Pokédex, so if you want to trade I can detour to a Pokémon Center near where I am. Or just Fly to one. :)

My Flying Pikachu Event is finally acquired via trade (don't even have an AR code for it, had to do it by trading, and someday it'll be in my shop), so that leaves me the Deoxys as the remaining prime legendary of interest, and Shaymin of course. Speaking of that Flying Pikachu, if you were to want one (yes, it's the only legitimate Pikachu that can know Fly in Gen. V, and there are none that can know Surf legally), I would probably only be looking at any breedables now as the third, but right now as of this VM I'm not planning for that one.

I shall take this opportunity to point to whatever time is on this VM on your end. Reverse a.m./p.m. (in other words, 12 hours later). I should be here around that time or just a little later tomorrow morning in my local time (9:05 a.m.). If you're around then, I can trade first thing in the morning. If you do want the Flying Pikachu, let me know and I'll quickly clone it and send back a list of the missing breedables.

Oh, I didn't realize you had different FCs for checking and for actual trades. In that case, yeah, garbage makles sense. I should be able to cover the last few Hoenn missings on my own, and then I have two Sinnoh games to complete the Dex with.

So your last VM, you have it correct. I could hack a Shaymin as well, but I would rather keep that one legit. or at least legally caught even if the Event Item is tricked in. :)

So how would we do this, then? Would there be junkers thrown around? I know my Shiny Nincada is legit. (you don't even have to check it though I know you will in any case), it's the other two I'm unsure about.

Here's probably the best way to do this. If either turns out to be illegit. (for now I'll assume only one), then I'll forego the Manaphy since I have one, and it shouldn't trigger any flags even if I traded it (I'm not unless someone is desperate and doesn't care that it's an ARed Egg LMAO); if both fail, I can still hack in Oak's Letter someday and "legally catch" Shaymin (hey, I did it with Latias, legally caught and only the Enigma Stone was ARed in). Since I know the Shiny Nincada is legit., let's keep the Deoxys for that one. Also, because I know it's legit., let's do the Deoxys first (as the one I want for the Nincada) and I'll send one of the two that can be checked; if it fails, send it BACK to me for the other one; if IT fails, send THAT back and the Nincada comes along. If either or both pass, we'll move down the line to the Shaymin for the second trade, and the Manaphy for the third (acquiring the Shiny Nincada) if neither red-flags. My trio doesn't change and yours becomes flexible based on the checks. Sound fair?

Also, I wouldn't mind getting the reports after they've been checked. Pass or fail. If it passes, I can say it's been tested.

I've sent twistedpuppy a PM asking about legality for ARed Events. I've been thinking about the July 9 on the Entei and think the Relocator assigns a new date (of its usage) to the Event Legendaries transferable using it (and I do recall receiving Entei during the summer, but I'll have to run this test myself one day just to verify it by ARing them and modifying the system date when I do). I'm not doing that until Entei and Suicine as scripted in SS are caught. Once I've cloned and imported those, I'll see how this works as I also have a Lock Capsule waiting for transfer (and I already confirmed with twistedpuppy that TM95 Snarl is fine in B/W now since it's released in B2W2 regardless).

Of course, I can't get Suicine until I defeat Misty. That's fine...but I will defeat Brock first. Spent a long time training a second Gloom into a Bellossom. :D I didn't have any really good Grass types, and Bellossom's moves - including its "start" move, not learned by Oddish or Gloom - look great for the Rock types and Water types.

Add to that the Shiny Entei can't really be checked according to the PokéCheck FAQ. I'll have to inquire on ARed Events as I know ARed Pokémon was listed in the "illegal" group, but now I'm questioning every single one I've received. Even so, they all SEEM legitimate at first glance; my only doubt is the "received" date in each case.

Again, I can confirm the Shiny Nincada, once imported, IS legit. I even have Lv.1 Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina in SS;, I did use AR to repeat the Arceus Sinjoh Ruins bit three times, but each "baby" is a legitimate one from the sequence itself and not hacked otherwise (besides, you can later repeat it without Cynthia to get a second, though I am unsure on a third). I have a Lv.1 Regigigas - also legit. I do have a lot of legit. ones, but as I said, there's no way to know if any are legit. or not.

AS FAR AS I KNOW, the Shiny Entei and LArvitar are legit.; I admit I've screwed up my own game with a wrong date by catching a swarm Pokémon "before" defeating the E4, but it's due to changing the date after beating the E4 in an attempt to try something. Larvitar is probably legitimate. But the possibility does exist that someone created a code the day it was announced. Larvitar CAN be PokéChecked in Battle Videos apparently since it's not banned from battle facilities, however, I haven't used one as such and have no idea if it would be flagged.

Keep in mind that unless you captured Shaymin and Deoxys yourself (I presume you did), I likewise can't confirm EXACTLY where they came from. It's the risk I take. That's how I ended up with a Lv.3 Jirachi I eventually said goodbye to, and a Lv.37 Arceus. At least I cleared the entries for them! And later, I did get legitimate ones. :)

No, you don't follow me. I've explained how some people do it. Thing is, when we trade for the Events, we don't know if that's what we're actually getting. I can tell you I have an ARed Lv.50 Event Eevee sitting in SoulSilver that I haven't imported to Black, and very well might not (besides, kinda hard to evolve that to an Espeon or an Umbreon since they're based on friendship, we'd need a mountain of vitamins or patience to reach Lv.70ish). With that said, you could trade someone for an Event Eevee like this (someone else BTW, I can tell you it's a VGC one as well) and you'd have no idea if they got it at the Event or cloned it. Even the Flying Pikachu I asked for in the thread was a one day affair during the Championship, August 12. If I get no takers, I may have to see if there's a code for it. I really want a Surfing Pikachu and Flying Pikachu, and have to accept that the Surfing one doesn't exist yet, meaning if I do it it WILL be a hacked one; at the very least, I can AR one in SoulSilver then hack as necessary to recreate it using the same Pikachu, (Note also that this Surfing Pikachu would be banned from most trade areas - already mod-verified on this - except the specific area for hacked Pokémon. The inability to transfer with Surf doesn't mean a thing since PokéCheck would red-flag it.)
