I don't think you can get a shiny event in the 4th gen games. They have a shiny checker from what I hear. The only one that you can possibly have a shiny of is manaphy, and thats after trading the egg before it hatches to another game with a different SID. So you have 1 in 8192 chance of having...

haha well I think you traded me 20. I bred the other two shinies and replaced the lucario and totodile with the shiny ones and added the shiny charmander and treecko, so theres 22 in all I think.

Not for random shinies, no. If it were a pokemon i was going to be using competitively, then yea i would. Right now the only one im looking for for competitive use is an adamant UT Riolu with some decent IVs.

Well I'm mostly looking for Venonat, Shellder, Horsea, Staryu, or Buneary but ill take just about any haha
