We've known about this adware controversy, you're not the first to bring it up. The situation is in the administration and higher staff's hands. There have been various threads popping up dealing with this issue over in Community Questions & Feedback. [Thread here] I myself don't know a lot of the details seeing I haven't been following it much, but you're free to discuss such over in that thread.
