  • Oh man so much to cover xD Yes Meloni and poo on anyone who thinks drawing realism with a tablet is cheating. Reality is not reserved for traditional art.

So yeah I already love/watch everything you've suggested. But I suppose that's actually a good thing! And Breaking Bad <3; So fantastic. Especially the last season. Heroes... eh. I tried, I really did. And it's not like I /don't/ like it.. I just think I watched it at a bad time and it ended up coming cross as really forced and poorly constructed to me. I'll have to give it a shot again when I have the time and patience for it because I've heard really good things when the story gets some momentum.

You might really like Fables. It's a comic series about some classic.. well.. fables, only reinterpreted with heavy back story and drama, but still influenced by tradition. So you've got characters like Snow White, Rose Red, Boy Blue, etc. But its a seriously fantastic read if you're into fantasy. That and I'm buddy-buddy with the colorist.
Yeah, I haven't seen any of season five even cause I don't have HBO so I've been waiting for it to come out on DVD. But I'm such a fangirl for Christopher Maloni, I don't think I have all that much restraint. Anyway, agreed, so far Game of Thrones is way better than True Blood.

I'm totally the same way (only you can throw comics into the list) for any series with true, pristine lore. It's funny though, cause it all happened in such a whirlwind for me that I only just noticed that you've got a white walker in your gallery. Three days ago I didn't know any better. I'm such a sucker for it now though lmao.

And yes! I'll take any recommendations you can give me.
Yup. Boyfriend is reading the book currently, we both finished the show.

We were looking for something to fill the hole True Blood left when it ended, so as of last week we picked up Game of Thrones and didn't put it down until last night. And omg. omg omg omg omg.

Like. I don't even know where to start. It's incredible.
I liked it more than it seems. I'm just critical by nature. Books I don't like I don't bother to finish. :)

Hey, sickness. I can relate. Just getting over a cold that laid me up for 4 days. Made me miss sunshine. My place gets none of that so when you're inside all day you loose track of time.
In all honesty I thought it was okay. Not the best thing I've read, nor the worst. I couldn't quite shake the similarities between it and Tales of Earthsea (there are several). Not that I think there was any lifting or anything like that, it's just that I felt I'd already gone down that road before. It's not the book's fault, but that did lessen my enjoyment a bit. I did like the structure of it, the way it was a story in a story., and how it moved around a lot, not getting stuck on the same things chapter after chapter. After a while though I started to loose interest in the main character because... I dunno really. Maybe it was just there there was so much of just him and not a lot of side characters who I wanted to be fleshed out more.

I guess in the end I'd say it's a good book, but not exactly my kind of book. Worth reading once.
Things is well with me, yes, and I finished that book, although "finished" hardly describes the ending.
Erm... if you want I could remove it, I just put that up since you became MOTY 2012. Seems you're the most popular! But like I said, if it bugs you, I'll remove it off.
b'sides, that's so not RPing, that's just me typing because I'm bored and people throwing ideas 8D
