Yeah I feel you, criticism is obviously more valuable with substance. And I'm not really sure on the latter part lol; it's probably to be better serious. I really don't pay attention to how I sound one way or another.

its obviously more positive than negative for sure but im glad you see that it will be better as a discussion thread [and you can just re-lock it if it gets out of hand]

and i guess i'll address the elephant in the room by saying that i really don't think any of the comments on your game in particular are attacks. it's obviously a high-quality game like you attested too but I feel like my post and others [even Yuoaman's, even if he approached it in a funny way] were honest criticism. the game itself isn't bad by any means, the 3 screenshots you posted before the video are all very nice, but in my eyes and again, a few others, that one aspect in particular could use some work.

Yeah i see your point. Though, we do have rules, so you can just infract people if they become disrespectful. I think debates are good as long as we're all respectful about it, and I think this could turn into a good one. :)

haha i had this reaction before i saw your page but i'm gonna also advocate opening that thread for discussion since reading it there are [naturally] parts that I agree and disagree with and I'm sure others feel the same way and I feel like the thread and overall message would be better and probably more objective that way.

I think you should either open this for discussion or take out the negative parts you don't like, only leave in the bits about everyone being nice to each other. Quite a lot is your opinion which I don't think should be the final word as well, peoples are bound to differ from yours.
