  • So I submitted the replay and explained the rage powder bug, but apparently it's not a glitch. Any powder moves don't affect grass types, which would explain why Ferrothorn and Breloom were able to hit their targets despite Amoonguss using rage powder.
Well I'm done with dinner, but not with my doubles team. I'll probably just use one of my singles team anyways since I'm curious on how it'll do. So whenever you're up for it, just send me a message and we can do battle on PC's server. If you want to, of course.
I love showdown! But I have to eat dinner right now, so we'll have to battle later, plus I need to make a team...
Interesting, you'll have to send me a battle replay sometime because I want to see it in action. It never looked all that great in singles, and I always questioned why it was placed in UU, but I guess it's pretty good in doubles.
How do you use it though? I've never even considered it for singles, so I'm curious to see what it does in doubles.
I'm trying to think of doubles strategies, but I just can't think of any. I've heard that Amoongus is really good in doubles. Is that true?
That sounds interesting. What just occurred to me was a heat wave Chandelure holding a fire gem. It would be good for a first attack, but not much past that.
I just used the usual Ninetales + Venusaur combo as my lead. I was very disappointed when I found out simple beam Linoone was banned. So there goes simple cosmic power Clefable...
I know, I saved the battle before the conversation afterwards, so the replay didn't catch it, but the the guy said, "You know what? NOT GG". He then went on a rant about how I only won because of hax and how I was a noob player. Fun times.

Did you catch the second replay? It's so much better than the first, but took place last gen.
I don't get wifi at my house that my DS can hook up to, otherwise I totally would. D:
    I r gud @ ritng!!1!!!one! :D

Don't worry about it, everyone starts from somewhere. When I first started, I had no clue how to format things past spaces, so my first story was just a wall of text. Then Bobandbill came by and showed me the ropes of writing and I have loved it ever since. Maybe that's why I love FF&W so much, it's where I discovered my love for writing.
Writing is definitely fun, depending if it's forced or not. I love writing, but I will be the first to complain when it's forced, such as essays. I just wish more people gave criticism. It would help so much. Heck, I just wish people would leave more comments. I can understand why people don't review though. Writing is difficult and reviewing can be extremely intimidating if you're not confident in your abilities.
Try not to repeat "leaves" so much. It ruins the flow of the story to have the same word repeated so close to each other. Try something like this:

The wind rustled the leaves, causing them to fall to the ground and form small, neat piles scattered all over the forest floor. A small Eevee came stomping through this part of the forest, kicking up the mounds of leaves as the brown fox trudged on.

"Well today sucks," The Eevee mumbled to herself.
