Traditional art, mang. Draw on paper, ink with pen, take a pic/scan, and post. :D I only got a tablet back in February, bro. I'm don't even have a year of experience with digital art.

Spriting is its own art, so there is a level of skill you need to do it well. But luckily, you only need MS Paint to do it, so you can start anytime! It's usually best to start with small projects, recolors, fusions, things like that. I'll gather up some tutorials for ya so you can check them out. :) It's something I need to do anyway since the A&D/Pixel Art merge.

It actually came free with my first tablet, which was another VisTablet, so it was free! Before then though, I honestly had absolutely no knowledge of Photoshop or any illustration/editing software. So I can't actually give you a good answer to your questions as I don't know what was featured in previous versions nor how transferring would work with current versions. D:

Hi, I am going good a little annoyed that I have to go back to school on the last day of the year.

From everything I've been able to read about it on the Photoshop website (because I had the same question lol) it is what it says it is. Since there is no official CS7, which has been renamed to CC, Adobe released an "elemental" version of their software, which includes everything a photo editor/artist would need, just with user friendly options lol.

You don't need to be a superduperamazingomg artist to own/use a tablet! There's plenty of things you can do with one that don't involve art!

I recommend VisTablet just because their prices are usually a little cheaper than their competitors, Wacom, who generally make a better product. But having taken that gamble, I can say I definitely prefer VisTablet for my needs. Also, most (if not all) of their tablets come with Photoshop CS7 Elements, so that will be a good platform for you to start familiarizing yourself with how to use it. Trust me, it's fun! :D

Well, you know he's 13, so he's pretty old in cat years. But he'll always be a beloved pet so we're going to make sure he stays happy and healthy for a long as possible! n_n;

Welp, my car is still broken. ;; But I was able to snag a nice, much better car from my Uncle, who has two and doesn't need it. So, naturally, as soon as I have a car, my teacher cancels class because of the snow. (＃｀д´)ﾉ Just my luck lol. Lastly, our cat is in the kitty hospital. D: But all prognosis's are good so he should be just fine. He's always been slightly sickly, needing a special diet and whatnot, so it's not like this is coming as a total shock to us.
