It really did. I think we normally get a new main series game every year, but since we didn't get one this year I'm thinking gen 7 will be delayed or something. That, or maybe they've been working on Gen 7 this whole time and they're planning on surprising us who knowwwws

Right? xD I think in 2016 we're going to get a Pokemon Z first though, and then Gen 7 might come in 2017. It's a little weird that we didn't get any main series games in 2015 though, we're long overdue x.x

hahaha hell yeah. I've actually released a couple of my own lines! they're all technically owned by my boss and his company but I was the lead tech and they're all my custom flavors so i claim creative ownership of the product. i started vaping to quit smoking and made myself a nice little job out of it!

i backpacked my ass all the way to a hippy festival in Ithaca NY, right on the border of Canada. though a good chunk of it wasn't backpacking proper since the Appalachian trail doesn't go that far, but still! got to the festival, stayed all of two days and went home lmao. as long as you plan right and go with a good group if you're not traveling on your own, you'll have a great time.

god i know exactly how you feel. i'm expecting to really have to push myself when the semester starts and a lot of sleepless nights as a result. but then again what college student isn't? i'm actually genuinely excited though.

that sounds nice! I did pretty much the same thing, just replace coffee shop with vape shop haha. spent enough of my time (and money) there so I got myself hired lol. I mainly do lab work now and mix liquids and stuff, so it's actually pretty cushy.

oh man that sounds so awesome! I definitely recommend doing some backpacking if you get the chance. it's a lot of fun and really exciting! everyone should do it at lease once. I never went abroad or anything, but damn i'd do it again in a heartbeat if i could.

my 2016 is shaping up to be pretty intense! I'm moving on to a pretty competitive university in the spring so i'm sure all my time will go into that haha. in the meantime though i'm just enjoying the free time I do have being lazy and playing fallout 4 lol.

I think it has to do with the fact that Johto was intended to be the final game of the series, so they had always planned to make GSC as sequels to RBY (I recall hearing that from somewhere, but can't remember where I heard it, so it might not be correct). You might be right, but you never know, I think GameFreak will do anything if there's a strong enough demand for it.

Yeah always liked the anime rules myself and found them more challenging. May do a run of ORAS using anime rules. So like no items in battle and only use as many Pokemon in gyms as the gym leader has

I really hope we get a game that lets us travel to a second region in the near future. I've been wanting that for ages now haha. And yea, GSC were pretty tough since it's effectively 2 Pokemon games in one. B/W2 was pretty tough, but I'd still say HG/SS were the toughest. The level curve in that game is so difficult x.x

and oh god hahaha. It would get so tiring after a while to have to deal with people who don't understand the same thing over and over.

Either I just think it would be a good way for people to get creative (since the older I get the less I see people being creative and thinking outside of the box sadly) So like if we did a Pokemon thing I would do a wifi event but with anime rules. So like pick people to be gym leaders and have anime rules for the battles leading to an anime like league. Or if it was a Digimon project would create out own Digital monsters and maybe create it in like a MMORPG setting.

It was pretty awesome! Crystal was the one I played first n_n But the whole region of Johto is just amazing, y'know? And getting to travel to Kanto was nice too.

Just wanted to say thanks for breathing some life back into VG - it used to be my favorite place on PC, so it's nice to see someone else try to revive it with some interesting topics!

I thought starting Jan 1st would be the best thing. Like to ring in a new year XD So for example if let's say the fandom picked is Pokemon I would host a Pokemon league maybe have some of the people in the group do a few Pokemon videos on Youtube. Maybe abridged one of the movies etc. It would be activities based around the fandoms picked. :) I thought it would be interesting to have people thinking in different ways and getting to be creative.
