The fact that you can't use your character from the international server sucks. It must've been really, really excruciating for you to see all that hard work you put into that character and all those times you spent on it go up in smoke after so long. :(
Good that it made you stumble on P3P though. :p I've heard of those games. Apart from Corpse Party (I only am aware of its anime), I've seen at least a little bit of all of those games. Devil Survivor, especially - it is one game I tried running on my phone (emulation again, ofc :p). Never really started playing the game though after coming to know the fact that I can't insta-save like I could in most emluated pokemon or psp games :( I'll be sure to check out the Devil Survivor series sometime though since I've been told they're pretty good by sources who have played and enjoyed the Persona games.
Have you played Persona 4? It is a pretty good one too. It ran kinda crappy on my lappy so I gave up on the game and saw the story via the anime but not before actually putting in 60+ hours into the game haha. It has a pretty nice story too and may just be to your liking. Must say, though, that I still prefer P3P over that. :p Also good luck trying to beat the last boss - he's tough as nails since he doesn't die easily. And unless you have one of those SP recovery items, good luck trying to survive. :p I mean, in my case I ran out of SP and was SURE I'd die. But then I saw that I have a few of those Somas(?) that fill up both your whole party's SP and HP. And then I kicked his ass. :D
