  • I opened it on Oct. 17th (Sunday).
And I hope that I`ll get everything until this friday (it will be hard to get the league opened with all gym leaders until this friday...).
I thought that already on the 3rd Gen. but taking a look on the 4th Generation...there`s a huge difference :O

BTW, all Hoenn pokemon look like typical hoenn-pokemon (I mean the design of them) :)
I guess that the problem to me was that 85% just were new pokemon, 13% were Kanto-pokemon and the 2% were just Johto-Pokemon...they used rarely pokemon from the 2nd Generation and I didn`t like it that well. I had also problems to see the new pokemon as "pokemon" (honestly, it was harder to accept the 4th Gen. pokemon as pokemon, especially Carnivine, Combee, ...). It has good grafics...but I don`t know. When I was young then I liked it to play. But G/S/C was still the best versions (in my opinion).

Overall, Ruby and Sapphire are ok :)
I`ve played Gold (and Crystal, but somebody stole it - I`m sure) and it was epic! Most of my pokemon memories are from Gold :)

Ruby and Sapphire wasn`t that good to me...but I maybe understand you. You`ve played Ruby and have the most beautiful memories of it. I love Gold and you love Ruby, because we had the most beautiful memories on different games.
Just reteach Leech Seed an Sleep Powder. Teach it Sludge Bomb, and then pick between Grass Knot or Energy Ball. You can EV it all the way up.
    OR
You can just breed to get a Calm natured one and start training from Lv 1 (this is what I do with all my Pokemon)
Well, I`ll get HG for myself and SS for a cousin of mine.
    It`s up to you.
    Both versions contain both legendaries (HG : Ho-Oh Lv.45 - Lugia Lv.70 / SS : Lugia Lv.45 - Ho-Oh Lv.70).
If you really can`t decide, then I would check out some sections on serebii.net (for example the version exclusives in HG/SS).
Mild is a bad nature because it LOWERS his Sp. Def.
    Try something like this:
    Venusaur @ Leftovers
Calm (+ Sp. Def, - Atk)
    252 HP / 252 Sp. Def / 4 Def
    Sleep Powder
    Leech Seed
    Sludge Bomb
    Energy Ball/Grass Knot
Yup, I know (3-5 years ago when I was playing Sapphire, I got a shiny Blaziken which was hacked via AR).

But now I don`t play Sapphire anymore - and btw, I don`t hack/cheat in Diamond and I also won`t hack in HeartGold.
    Yeah. Here's what I use:
    Starmie @ Leftovers
    Timid
Surf / Ice Beam / Thunderbolt / Rapid Spin
Rapid Spin is on there to get rid of entry hazards (Stealth Rock, Spikes)
On Venusaur, max out Sp. Def. and HP.
Use Starmie or Gyarados instead of Blaziken, it gives good coverage.
Really? It probably is but you're not noticing it.
You might want to switch up your team, I noticed that using the same team on him doesn't work to well. He was ready for my Yanmega the 3rd time we battled.
    Lol, nice battle! :)
Yeah, I`ve got some good pokemon for my gym :)

    Now to our trade...
Do you need anything special for the shiny Blaziken?
