Judging by behind the scenes, Nathan really just seems to try to enjoy himself, as he has a tendency to play pranks on everyone he works with at some point (I advise watching some videos of those from Firefly trying to answer questions at conventions. Most times anyone from Firefly is on one, Nathan rings them, and on one, he appeared from backstage, surprising everyone)

So close, but it's Castle, a detective show which Nathan Fillion is currently in (and does make a lot of references to Firefly). I was considering doing a Firefly theme, as I recently watched the series and Serenity, and loved it to bits, so maybe next time when I get the right look.
