Wow. The way cards are made these days has changed quite a bit from when I last made them. Kudos to the Card Makers.

A fresh start is good every so often. The last card I managed to make was the larger of the two in my signature. Unfortunately though, my harddrive got wiped shortly after and I lost my .psd files for making more of them. Serves me right for not backing things up like I told myself I would.

It's pretty nice. I'm kinda partial to the traditional look, though neither of my signature cards are all that traditional.

Usually in forums, it takes a while for people to respond, as opposed to a chat room where it's real time chatting. But I don't think this particular thread is for requesting a TCard, some of the other threads in this TCard forum are. It would take more than a few minutes to create however...

Thanks. I tried originally for a LCDish font, so it'd go with the rest of the card type, but all the fonts were required to be larger than possible. I had also considered just using the FR/LG text, since it's small and clean-looking, and maybe rearranging the Trainer Card and Pok?ball...

If I'm understanding right, you're asking what people make the Trainer Cards with, right? If that's the question, the answer varies from person to person. Some people might use MS Paint (Which everyone has, unless they're Mac or Linux users only.), and others use programs like Paintshop or...

Letting people vote for the theme would likely go well. Or even let them suggest the theme, then have whoever is judging randomly vote on which theme to go with. Supposing that's not something along the lines of what you were thinking anyway.

The cards have improved since I was last able to really be here.. Computers start to suck after a while. :( An idea for the contest would be adding some sort of theme. Like if people were to create a holiday themed card, using whatever card style they can think of.

I tried to make a Halloween themed card.. As shown by my signature. But I think it needs some work still before it's ready. It's not bad so far, at least to me. The unused template looks better to me though.

I've got a GBA SP, hand cramps and all. I prefer it over the regular GBA though. Don't like having to buy the addon for headphones. Nintendo DS will be rather good from what I've seen, but it's not the next Game Boy.. So the next Game Boy that comes out will blow away the GBA.
