hehe, good call on the GFX specs, I've been quoting the unibodies for so long it got engrained in my head. O well, I'm one sep closer to one though. I enabled the 4-finger gestures on my MBP a few days ago, they work pretty ok

the 4-finger gestures allow you to access app switching and exposé much faster than using the keyboard shortcut commands. there's a great video about halfway down this page that demonstrates all of the gestures currently allowed on the newer multi-touch trackpads, and all but the 4-finger gestures are accepted by the early 2008 macbook pros. since it's really a software thing that would allow that feature to work on the early 2008s I really hope they include those for older multi-touch trackpad users in SL.

yep, mine is only 2.4, but for what I need it does fine. besides, unless you're bootcamping a 64-bit OS you should be able to use 2GB just fine. I only have 4GB because I'm frequently running both Leopard and a 64-bit version of Windows 7 at the same time.

Well the whole thing with Time Capsule was that you don't need to constantly plug your laptop in to an external drive to do a backup.

Why use a cable, eh?... ... Well, why use wireless? Cables came first, they work fine, there we go.
