    I've seen nothing but praise on my end, but I wasn't too hyped for it.
    I've seen complaints for Layton vs Wright, though.
    Investigations with Layton, trials with Wright. Works pretty well here.

    And they don't exactly work the way they do in their respective series either. Layton's investigations borrow a bit from AA, and the trials are completely new and refreshing. Loving the new trial system. Just finished the first chapter and it was amazing, perfect blend of whimsy and serious.

    Truth be told I expected to be disappointed with this, but I think as long as you're not expecting big fanservice (it really stands on its own) you'll enjoy it.
    I can see why haha.

    It actually feels more "Ace Attorney" than Dual Destinies did for me at least. It's definitely Shu Takumi (same writer for the original trilogy and Ghost Trick) writing this one.
