I'm glad N stuck around for as long as he did. He's so mysterious and intriguing at the same time. I like how he and Ash both fought for the same thing for different reasons while learning to cope with their different ideals. The anime did a good job of stressing the "truth vs. ideals" motif when it came to the Plasma arc.

I guess major episodes like that often tend to be disregarded in future episodes :\ But it's like a "what if" kind of scenario. I read somewhere (I think it was the Bulba page) that Bianca was the only one who had to be edited in succeeding episodes due to the episodes being cut. It's unfortunate though that A Venipede Stampede never wrapped up and just became a random episode in the series.

Do you remember the original Ash who was arrogant , Mischievous , laid-back , Ego-manic and hothead ???
Now remember that Ash but now he's more smarter , competent , stronger and doesn't make the same mistake twice.

FYI : Arrogant & Over-confident are 2 different thing.
Even Gold (Pokespe) ,Ichigo (bleach) , Luffy (One Piece) act arrogant & ignorant toward other but that does not mean they are overconfident.

Yeah for once I'm happy about Johto's low level wild Pokemon. When I'm grinding for the Elite Four or a high leveled Pokemon, not so much. :(

So would BW have been much better if the two episodes had aired? What significant plot events happened?

it has been. and winds are coming from the south now instead of the north and west, which is good

In other news it's actually not terrible out

other than the winds being kinda nasty and making east-west roads freaking icy

meh people get it in their heads and it's there their whole life so it's hard to remove the notion that it is bad

It would be nice if the Pokémon Company would give us some info on what they plan to do with the episodes. It would be a waste to just toss something with significant story importance. I don't know what it's like from the point of view of the earthquake victims :\
