Ah so to learn C++ you'd just be learning C with a few other bits added into it? And I'm assuming there is a reason for it to be converted into C first but right now it just seems like a waste of time xD What if it doesn't work in C format?

My desktop is made from the oldest hardware ever xD I'm pretty sure the graphics card alone has at least five years on it :x I really need to invest in some new hardware.

Is it related to WAMP? Because I have that installed on my windows partition so I can run a nulled version of VBulletin x]

I have Ubuntu installed on both my netbook and my desktop if that would be ok? I think I might still have xubuntu on a USB stick somewhere too but I'm not sure but I know I have puppy linux somewhere on a USB stick too. Which of these are compatible with LAMP?

A few months ago I have seen a computer with a Samsung widescreen monitor, a Vista-era keyboard, a wireless mouse, a brand new case, a Core processor (Core what is unknown) and... *Drumroll* Windows 98 of all things. Just to run a management software...

Then again, all browsers die.

5 years later, maybe it'll be at 1%, since Windows XP will be a distant memory to most by then. :)

I go to W3schools quite a lot actually ^^ I go there whenever I've forgotten a bit of CSS or something isn't going well. I tried learning HTML on there but I really don't like how the site is organised, it seems really confusing to me "/

Well maybe I should give PHP a shot seeing thats what I've always seen be used in the page templates I've been using. If HTML is that simple I should be able to pick it up along the way :3

What would you recommend as a starting code to learn that would be easy to transfer to other coding languages?

I've read up on VMware and stuff but I've never had the right hardware to be able to try it out. I guess it serves me right for not spending money on my computer ^^'

I've always wanted to learn to code but I have no idea where to start. I tried learning java at one point but I had no use for it so I lost interest since I wasn't building anything. I suppose if I were to find something I could use regularly so I wouldn't forget it I'd probably fall into coding more, like I did with CSS. Only CSS is useless because I don't know HTML xD

I suppose my main interest is in web design, simply because I like designing things. However I have no knowledge in the subject at all which is probably holding me back xD
