I considered skipping the celebration and just going to bed instead, but I don't think it would matter anyway with the noises of the fireworks.
The first semester didn't go as I hoped for, I have to retry a terrible exam (like 70% failed it) in a few weeks. Also, there was this practical that was super messy (and took the time of two subjects while only counting as one), I was really confused at start and I think the supervisors disliked me from start. Now I have to redo it next year, so that's meh. It's not all terrible though, other subjects went fine and I have a great group of people to spend the lunch breaks with, chatting or playing card games. We even tried playing Dungeons and Dragons during lunch last week, which went surprisingly well.
Second semester is going better, I think. I have exams in a week, so we'll find out soon.
Oh yes, so said you were going there. How was Japan? Spending summer relaxing is the best, though a summer-y Christmas is something that's hard to imagine for me. xD
