Yeah that would be cool! But do you mean like your character sees Dusknoir about to teleport, or do you mean like being able to travel with dusknoir.
In one of my hacks, I have considered trying this. Like being able to use Dusknoir to travel to different worlds or things.

Oh yay!! If you didn't see my avatar or signature, then yu wouldn't know that dusknoir is my favorite pokemon! Also, don't get me started on PMd2 I played thr game so many times because dusknoir had an awesome part!

Basically, all the code will do is check the month, and if it's a certain season that month, then it'll have a different pallet loaded from an offset in the game. Quick question: Should the grass (Not wild battle) be orange in fall, or stay green? And should the grass in winter be white? (wild grass)

Hey, just wanted to tell you what I was working on.

At the moment, I've been researching how map pallets were loaded, that way I could set a breach to my own code, to load the pallet differently, for events such as seasons. I might actually let ya use it once I figure it out, and I also might try making a flashback effect similar to ColColStyles. (Why don't I just ask him? Because I don't like to take advantage of others, you'll see that a lot.)

Sorry for the delay. I've been traveling for the better part of the past two days. :(
I found the code but I made it a long time ago so 1) I have to remember where everything goes; and 2) I wasn't nearly as good a programmer back then as I am today. The code is really inefficient and I'm looking into improving it.

To answer your question, you should read this post where I outlined how to use the system to Thrace. I'll send you the assembled files and you will just have to put them at the correct addresses. I'll write up a better explanation of it all when I send it to you.

To answer your question, sure you can use it. Normally, I'd say no but you seem like a nice guy. Plus, if what you said about the time-based events is true, then you're definitely more intelligent than a good portion of the members here. :)

Let me go see if I can find where I put the code. It's been a while since I've used/worked on it.
