  • Then you will have issues. Each entry in that table is about 20 bytes long. 20 * 25 = 500. That is a half-kilobyte of data that is being shoved in at the end of the table by PGE. Do you realize the chaos that can cause? 500 bytes of needed data, gone. You need to repoint the table to free space before doing this.
    Alright lets see..
It seems to be at 0x3B4EE4.
The table consists of pointers to bitfields, so don't get confused as to what happens lol
First, make a tutorial. Stop spamming threads.:P

Second, in your new method, did you repoint the dex table? The one that has the pointers to the dex entries and all of the height and weight info? If you didn't, your new pokemon are overwriting data. That is bad.
LinkandZelda is the creator of Liquid crystal lol
Also the footprint table is easy to repoint once you find it.
Did you join romhack.me? I don't think I've seen you there
I trust you, but this makes the unown not work. And this is replacing. Plus they're not glitch pokemon, they're placeholders for extra sprites (called for by the pid of each unown)
Your way works, but my way allows 65535 pokemon slots lol
And you can do it with no issues :D
    Anyway how's your hack going?
You can't. You need to change the routines to allow for more pokemon. plus you can't expand without repointing anyway.
go to GBAPGE folder. there should be a folder there named "ini". and inside that folder is an ini file called "rom".
open it with a text editor. :3
Come on now, it was a very simple instruction.

I closed your thread while I did research to confirm the sprites were not stolen. I generously gave you the option to PM me the sprites along with the originals so we could sort it out; an offer I do not give to those suspected of thievery. You failed to do this, so your thread stays closed.
I'll be the person to confirm that. And please don't spam my profile, okay? I get that you're frustrated but there's no reason to lash out in public. If you have anymore comments please PM me along with your sprites.
I understand. Once we can prove your sprites aren't stolen, hell, I'll give you permission to use my mega sprites in return. I know this is a huge pain, but it's a part of my job to protect the artists here. I appreciate your compliance.
I'm sorry but I'm going to need a PM with the sprites to confirm these things. Again, I need to go through a process of confirmation; so your thread is going to be closed for a small time while I organize everything.
Words like "mostly mine", "mainly mine", "rest of these from..", are not fairing in your favor. It needs to be precise.
Dude, you don't need to go through each sprite to give credit, just group them together. 1-30 by smogon, 31-50 by Kyle, 51-60 by whoever, you know what I mean? Trust me, I understand your frustration. It's not easy to compile a resource and it's even more frustrating when all you want to do is help. That's why I'm even giving you this chance; because I know you're coming from a good place. Hell, if you want, I'll even write the thread for you.

But, when all's said and done, the most important thing is that credit is given to the original artist. It's a tough lesson to learn, but it's only fair.
