Thanks, I was thinking that when I first saw I was matched up with him. If they do another tournament, I'd like to be able to go in it matched up with someone more on my level and without input lag. His Jigglypuff is quite good, I should've used Jiggly as well because I think that's my best female character and maybe I wouldn't have lost quite as badly. He would've won either way.

By the way, have you played/watched any competent Luigis in Smash 4 yet? I think he's really solid in this game, if you haven't played/watched anybody you should go watch some matches of somebody by the name of "Boss" if you'd like to see Luigi's potential.

By the way, are you up for any 2v2s with CPUs today? It's fine if you're not.

I'm worried in general that Disney owns it, they could screw it up. I think George Lucas is giving some sort of supervision though. I'm also worried that they'll rush the movies (they're doing three), and that they'll make it too much of a kid's movie for merchandising. But there's nothing we can do except wait, and once it comes out we can see what they did.

The CGI wasn't awful, but it's nice to see less of it. I have no problem with CGI if it's not noticeably unrealistic CGI.

On a non-Smash topic, what do you think of Star Wars 7? Did you see the trailer?

Do competitive 64 players actually use the 64 controllers? And do they emulate the game? If they emulate it, pretty sure they can hook up a GCC.
Also, I'm pretty sure every character in that game except for Samus has a zero-to-death combo.

I've heard that the amount of hitstun in 64 usually means 'one hit = one stock' if the player is skilled enough with their combos. I've never really played it myself though.

As cool as it'd be, we don't even need to enter tournaments, we can even just play Online with people we might find on the internet (or even CPUs, but that gets kinda crappy after a while). In fact, would you like to do some matches right now of us versus a couple of level 8 CPUs, Battlefield, Friendly Fire on? Up to you of course, but I prefer Battlefield personally.

Oh, do you have a physical copy of Smash 64 and an actual Nintendo 64? I only have the latter. I also don't have Melee, but I have a Wii, and also a Gamecube that I think doesn't function.

Yeah, Smash 4 has extended blast lines, so people don't die as quickly. But it's able to have bigger blast lines than Brawl because people rack up damage a lot faster in 4 thanks to hitstun being back (allowing combos).

I'd really like to do 2v2s with you as my teammate someday. I might drag us down with my lack of skill :P, but it would be really fun nonetheless! :D

I don't think there was input lag in the matches after the first one, or I just didn't notice it. No need to feel embarassed xD Your Marth is better, but thanks for the compliment. I'm mainly practicing my Jiggs and Wario, they're both really fun to play.

Also, I think 4 stock might be a bit much, no offense. 2-3 stock tends to work better IMO

Like I've said before, I doubt I'll be able to get the Wii U version anytime soon at all. It's kinda hard to explain.

By the looks of it, 1.0.4 update made a lot of changes to Smash. They changed lots of characters, like nerfing Rosalina by increasing the time it takes for her Luma to respawn from 8 seconds to 13 seconds.

I doubt I'll be able to get the Wii U version very soon either, probably not even this year. Maybe next year, I'm not sure.
