If I had a pokemon in Red version transferred to Crystal with a move I put on him that he couldn't learn except by a cheating device, would it be possible that it's offspring could learn that move? What if I breed a Charizard with a Ditto that only knew 4 Thunders?
Does it matter that you lose 10 battles with a Pokemon, then deposit him in a PC, and withdraw him? What I'm really trying to ask is:
Will it change the number on your stats as you see them, once you do the Box Trick? Will you be able to see the numbers change after a withdraw?
Thanks.
Awesome, Scyther's moveset in gen 1 games is down right dreadful. I decided not to chain him with Lapras btw, no point in trying to chain breed for nothing.
Will this crash the game?
Say I used a move modifier gameshark code to put Mega Drain on my Scyther for Pokemon Red and save the game. If that permanently puts that move on my Scyther, if I traded that pokemon to, say Crystal version; Will that crash the game? Or will Pokemon Crystal just...
Basically what I'm trying to do is create a Scyther who can learn a move from breeding a Lapras, I know that you can't directly breed a Scyther from a Lapras so I was looking for the minimum amount of breeding I would have to do in order to achieve this.
Shortest Breeding Chain to breed Scyther and Lapras?
Well I originally wanted to breed a Lapras and Scyther together but it turns out that I can't. I'm going to start up the original Red version, then when I finish that game I'll move on to playing Crystal to breed them.
So in Pokemon Crystal...
