Most adults and people aren't familiar with/or haven't played the game most commonly call it "Pokeman" as a mispronunciation.
Because of this it is a way to mock the game but also a sort of rallying cry for those who greatly enjoy the game by ironically calling it by the name that most...
Articuno was always my favorite in RBY as well, both because of its appearance and its extreme usefulness.
Would love decimating Exeggutor with a well placed Blizzard.
And if we're unable to find specific instances of Pokemon eating Pokemon... we could always go picking through specific trainers' Trubbish and Garbodors for cold, hard evidence.
No way, man. Slowpoke has an entire meme based off it: http://www.quickmeme.com/Slowpoke/
I'd have to go with Sunkern/Sunflora or Swalot. Swalot just came across as a fat, mustachoied, less bad-ass looking Muk that I probably used once or twice in-game and then tucked away into Poke storage...
One thing's almost certain: If Pokemon existed in real life as they did in the game, there would be way more sanctions on competitive battling. That, or the moves would be way less exaggerated than they appear in-game (obviously, considering the video game is for entertainment) and certain...
I actually gave my DS away to my little cousin a few years ago; I wanted to focus more on schoolwork so I figured she could use it more than I could. The genuine happiness I saw light up in her eyes when I told her she could have "all the Pokemon that came with it," was worth it though.

Choice Band Slaking hurts like a mofo; you have to be like Swami with your predictions though.
The problem with Tropius is that it doesn't have Spore to set up with and its Grass/Flying typing is weaker overall than Breloom's Grass/Fighting.
I went with Latios because I like the color scheme as well as the in-game graphic of him better; he just exudes more of an imposing presence to me. I also like how he has a higher special attack stat, especially with Soul Dew equipped.
Also don't see this happening but I'd love to be able to play a different type of character than a "young up and coming Pokemon trainer" from the game's onset.
Read the link in my signature for more ideas based on that premise.
So glad they made this change; now I don't feel so left out when Japan gets the game so much earlier. The fact that myriad pictures and translated in-game snippets would be made available online was like rubbing it in my face, also.
As previously mentioned, the legendary trio of Suicune, Entei, and Raikou are probably the closest we have to a tiger/big cat.
I wouldn't mind seeing a Pokemon in-game that's more of a tiger analogue though. They are such impressive beasts.
Alakazam.
Not only would I have a robust, bad-ass mustache that would make Ron Burgundy jealous -- but surely a Pokemon with an IQ of 5000 could find a way to stop its continuously multiplying brain cells or harness them in a non-hindering way.
From what little we've seen in the preview footage the game looks amazing; as you probably know, graphics were never the selling point of this game so the ameliorated animations and character models are definitely an added bonus though features that were needed almost 20 years into the game's...
