That is my point for not releasing the other 70 -- To keep the original XY game players feel fresh and give them some kind of new experience as in oppose to revealing all of the available new Pokemon like usual. (Note: Previous event exclusive Pokemon are not included, when I said 'revealing all of the available new Pokemon').

On the other hand that creates a 'reason' for the original XY players to buy the sister games, as the other 70 are only exclusively available for the sister game(S). And that will secure income for both GF and Nintendo. {XD}

The point of new Pokémon games is to introduce a minimum of at least 100 new species of Pokémon, as provided by Gen 2 when it introduced 100 new Pokemon. Any number less than a 100 may cause a concern about GF's design department. The reveal of the Z legendary as well as no plans for DLC, which event Pokémon are technically counted as, shows that 70 is the total number.

That's true. :( No one cares about anniversaries for old spin off games unless they're Snap. :(
