She used CSS codes. Trade Corner has a very useful sticky thread that has guides on thread presentation.

It's done using CSS. You can encase your whole post in a [css-div="**CSS CODE HERE**"][/css-div] tag and add whatever styles you want to it. There are tons of CSS tutorials on the web to learn how to make things fancy but if all you want is a background image, you'd just put background: url('imageurl'); in the quotes for the div tag. :)

I lost the person who made my signature a long time ago on another forum site...so I cannot ask them.
