I love the Olympics either way but I find the Winter events more exciting. Summer is all running, swimming and biking compared to skiing, snowboarding, sledding and skating...

Why wouldn't you? When else can you celebrate your nation on such a global scale? What isn't great about an even that brings all the contries together, through sporting events rivals face-off and countries are ignited then at the Closing Ceremonies everyone leaves as one. It's a great time of year. =D

I found a new home in Pokemon general with 5th generation coming out. There's no clicks yet, no one really knows eachother cause alot of people are new. I like it.

Even with the problems that Vancouver's had, I've watched the last couple Olympics and the spirit has been unmatched this time around. Not just cause I'm Canadian but people are insane. A person I know got to go and he said people just burst into Oh Canada when he was at the Keg. How amazing is that!?

I know, it's really seperate now. I miss the fanclub era where we just chilled at oeoples FCs.

I blame clicks!! :P In Strategies and Movesets at least, Anti and D_A can pretty much entirally blame themselves for it's lack of popularity. =/

And commenting on yours and Eos' conversation. I've been around a coule forums and actually think most of the mods here do a fine job but the pokecommunity losing it's sense of community I definately agree on.

It used to be so easy to make friends and such. Now if you're not in on the group your posts are essentially ignored. It isn't the same. :(

No but I want to go more than anything in the world. 2 weeks every two years I live for the Olympics and these one's being in Canada just make the opportunity potentially even greater.

Yeah, it has no sense of order anymore. The mods do something when they get pissed off, that's it. There's no sophistication.
