It was external, and it was huge and bulky and only barely "travel convenient" but at age 10 it's awesome. xD

That is usually what I do; that or play video games. I remember one trip where we were able to hookup[ my gamecube to a vhs player thing in the car so I played Pokemon Coliseum on a two and a half hour car trip haha.
