About the battle, I think I would preffer lvl 100 so that all EV's are in place

Well anyways, if you don't have a Slugma, I can breed you one with magma armor (I had to add those to my thread anyways) and transfer it to your Diamond. Whould you like that?

Well, there is supposed to be an Action Replay code for that, but I don't use cheats since that takes all the fun away and I suggest you not to use them, they can ruin your game.
Some hatch faster than others, I suggest you check bulbapedia.com to see the number of steps you have to take, but starters all take the same amount.
Togepi eggs, on the other hand, hatch relatively fast while Eevee and Dratini eggs are almost impossible to hatch.
I suggest you use a pokemon with magma armor or flame body (The Magby I gave you might have flame body, I just didn't check)
That cuts the number of steps in half, so it should help you a lot (:
