I figured I'd just address the post about Salamence possibly moving to the uber tier here rather than clog that thread. I kind of agree with you, but I don't thin Gyarados is a fair comparison. Gyarados has a high attack and a high speed, but it cannot really become a mixed attacker. There are plenty of pokemon that can completely wall Gyarados. As for Salamence. You can't leave Blissey or other special walls out because of outrage and as soon as you switch to someone like Skarmory or Mamoswine you could end up fireblasted. The big argument with Salamence is that he has such a great move-pool and he's so unpredictable that he's hard to effectively counter. And the game centers around him too much, because just to be safe a lot of teams pack two Salamence counters. Not to mention that after a single dragon dance he outruns even the fastest non-scarfed pokemon.
