How come my one didn't have dire IV's then??? I mean, they weren't stellar or anything, but they weren't 0-5 as this guy suggested.

But to answer your question since you asked, if you knew as much as you say you do, you can tell a hack by just looking at it, or even a typing of the information. Most of the league and tourney people here can do such a thing so I assumed you could too. My bad. Thanks for the interesting debate.

Firstly, if people only want events, that's their decision, it doesn't make them a noob if they just don't need anything else, stuff as you said yourself is easily obtainable. Secondly, if you have only come across hacks then that is your own fault for not being able to tell who is worth trading with, and with all your talk of knowing so much, really you should be able to tell better. Lastly, the reason people on smogon know more is because they mostly have no lives and live for Pokemon. Your attitude that knowing more about a game of all things is important proves it.

Oh and if this forum is full of noobs who you are better than, why did you join and why are you still here??? Seriosuly, this and most other forums don't appreciate the smogon "I'm better than you because I live for a game" attitude.

Not really. The majority of traders here are not noobs, unless your definition of a noob is someone who has free will and doesn't bend to the will of the "almighty" smogon "culture".

Nope, pretty much everybody here redistributes at will. This is why I am telling you all of this. This forum is a far cry from smogon.

When you conduct a trade you are given something. When you are given something it is yours. When something is yours you can do what you want with it. Basc bartering. It's none of my business really though, it's just when someone thinks they can tell people what they can and can't do like that it makes me wonder, because I'm highly caught up in my own ego yet I won't do that, so it makes me wonder how a person needs to think to believe they can tell people what to do. Just an observation, one that might serve you well to think about because the last person who started a trade thread and thought they could tell people what to do basically got lynched.

As annoying as juupton is, are you seriously gonna blacklist the guy for "trading smogon 'Non-Redistributables'". I mean seriously, do ye smogon people think that ye actually have a right to tell people what they can and can't do with a Pokemon once it is rightfully theirs???
