It's the typical anime eyes, honestly XD At least their eyes don't take up most their face/body, like in Hamtaro (though that's what made those hamsters so damn cute <3).

It is, and yet he can carry it XD He starts off with an item called Silver Moon or something like that (Silver Moon is actually a scythe you get later in Riviera). In Yggdra Union, there are just items you equip to certain characters. Some are just equipment or foodstuffs, others are weapons, and some are just items. But they all have their own abilities while equipped. As for the weapons you see the characters use in battle, it's always the same. You never have to worry about them getting new weapons ^^

Another nice thing about Riviera and Yggdra Union (and hopefully this'll be the same for Knights in the Nightmare): No currency. I hate having to fight a gazillion battles in a Final Fantasy game just to get enough Gil to buy something XD

Yup~ And with different characters, different gameplay, different graphics (though in Yggdra Union, there are some graphic similarities to Riviera, though that definitely not includes the character design XD).

I know, right? 'Tis all the more reason to love him XD And to think I was never big on axe wielders... XD

Actually... The gameplay is a lot more different in Yggdra Union and Knights in the Nightmare. Each game has their own special gameplay, which is what I like <3

Mm... Then, if you get the chance, you could download Yggdra Union, the second game in the series Riviera is part of. It's game style is a lot like Fire Emblem, so... Just allow the Tutorials to be there and pay attention to them, as you'll find there are plenty of differences XD

And then the fourth game is to be released in America (there isn't a third game yet XD), and I reserved it today =D It's called Knights in the Nightmare, and it's for the DS.

I'm sure you've noticed the hearts that appear over a girl's head after some responses (you might've also noticed the hearts appear and then break). 'Tis a bit of a dating sim in its own unique way, after all XD

Certain characters can gain certain skills based on what they use. When you're looking at your Battle Items, press "S" (the equivalent to the "R" button on the computer), and if you see those little gray/black bars next to the character, it means they can learn it. If any of the bars are a larger white, it means you've used the item with that character however many bars are like that. Get them all large and white an at the end of the battle (or, you could just end the Practice Battle by pressing "Backspace" and going to End if your character's done learning a skill; you don't get any items though), that character will learn an Over Skill =D
