  • Do you accept torterra? Cos I havent bred it :P. And I can get you chimchar as well. Btw, the treecko is modest and UT as an added bonus :D
I can get you zorua and treecko. I might have the other two, but I forgot what they were :P
How's Macca's going? I'd prefer never to work in food again, but it seems really organised and structured there. In terms of actually liking it, my old headmaster (still on good terms) and I were talking about it when I was trying to work out if I should drop engineering for teaching and he said that since it was something I actually wanted to do and I had the drive to do a better job than the teachers I had, that already put me in the top 10% of potential teachers out there. I can't say much more until I actually get into the degree, though. :P

I think they should be given the respect from the get-go (even if only because they're older and deserve it as adults), but I also think they should show the students why they are respect and give that respect in turn.

Maybe it was 5 minutes, but I don't know, because I was fighting off a horde of dragons with a lightsaber at the time. :P

    amidoinitrite?
haha i actually hadd the perfect example of that last night!! some friends and i played taboo xD
That's another thing - a lot of teachers, especially the older ones, are doing it because they can't do what they want to. I actually want to do it. I know I can do a better job than most of the teachers I had and I get a kick out of teaching people things.

Funnily enough, the two subjects I enjoyed the most during school were Maths and French; teachers from both focused on teaching the content and not just how to pass the exams. I enjoyed what I was learning (moreover I retained more) and did reasonably well in both.

I probably exaggerated, lol. But it was over a minute.
I'd really like to see what the stats are for different countries here. I might ask Steve. :D

Anyone who does dodgy stuff in the same browser as their accounts are logged into is just asking for trouble.

I am going to be a teacher, so it's vital that I learn that balance. One of the main ideas I'm going in with (very relevant to the HSC [or VCE, if I remember rightly]) is that people should be learning to be fascinated or interested by concepts. Not just to tick boxes for exam criteria. It's hard to explain (which is rather ironic).

Well I'd not only changed the contents of 24 boxes, but as 12 of those didn't exist before that session, it had created them, too. I actually spent a large part of that time migrating Pokémon from Diamond, Platinum and HeartGold beforehand. I recently HG from someone on my other forum for $25, so I was just transferring anything of interest across before I restarted it. I tell you what though, I hate not being able to transfer items. I think I left behind about 10 Life Orbs and 6 choice items. A good few lefties, too. :P
Yeah, especially among long-term supporters. :D

Site's down, but I'm not too concerned about it in all honesty.

It's important to find the right balance between simplifying things and seeming belittling.

And lol, I just spent about 4 hours migrating most of my Pokémon to Black Version and sorting them into boxes by national Dex number. Bloody game took about 2 mins to save after changing the contents of 24 boxes. :P
Oh, right. I just assumed you were from somewhere else. :D

Given some of the photos people post on Facebook, I wouldn't say that's far removed. :cer_laugh:

You WHAT? :P Nah, it's okay. You don't have to have seen it to find it funny. The idea is that it starts off so calculated and profound only to trail off the way it does.
usually when it comes to highschool art and a class full of catty girls it does xDDD i've had fun competitive classes though, and they were awesome! :3 especially when we play group games and stuff xD
LOL. our class was like uneccessarily competitive >__<; i didn't see the point of competing!! i'm not super competitive at stuff like that xD
Yeah, I need to make an effort to catch up with friends, as well. I'm not out tonight (it's 12am here), just at home experimenting with different mixers. btw, Peach Iced Tea + Vodka = :cer_boogie:

Given how insecure Facebook really is, it's a bit of a worry, lol.

Doesn't look like I needed to edit it. The only strange part was a direct quotation from Dr Who. The vagueness of which I take no responsibility for, lol. :D
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff.

    I had to.

Sorry, I've had a few, so I'll probably end up editing this later on. :cer_laugh:

I probably had you as a contact on MSN, but I don't think I've logged in for months. I blame Facebook. :P

Hmm... I think there should be a profile contact link for Facebook. I'd post a suggestion thread, but I don't think I'm in the right state to do so. :P

Always up for a chat, though. Night.
haha xD aw its still cute! lmao that's awesome about work. and yeah seriously, i mean everyone hated her at the time but it's a cool story to tell. "once i got into a sydney gallery by drawing stick figures..."
LOL awww i think you're the first comic sans lover i'm met. HOW KAYOOTZ. :3 hahaha i love just blasting my lungs out even when i go off tune xD and stick figures are awesome! my friend, no joke, got into an art gallery here via stick figures, during the HSC.
It's been three years since we last spoke. Time seems to move at a different pace on this forum.

So, how's life treating you? And I'm rather glad you like my theme. Jolteon and Zapdos fill a special place in my heart. :cer_laugh:
