Someone was making them in the Pixel Projects forum a few years ago... You got to choose the color of the unit, what kind of background, and the Pokemon in it. Neat, right?
You should try to make some of the angles (notably on the hands and arms) a bit more natural; long straight lines don't really look organic. The perspective needs a little work as well, since currently the left arm looks significantly larger than the right one, when that body position wouldn't...
Looks good! You should color the outline to match the shading as well, though... Black where the the shading is darkest, a lighter color where the highlights are, etc.
Oh, I like the colors, it's a lot more vibrant. The animation looks a bit more cartoonie, but that may just be my imagination, as I haven't actually seen either version in action.
Aha, I knew that's what this WPC would be about. Regarding Genesect being a viable Pokemon for this competition, however, isn't the entire premise of the movie that a group of Genesect have a new forme that allows them to move incredibly quickly?

This is probably the first completely original, not-created-for-profit sprite I've drawn in about a year, at the request of a friend. Before any aspiring cetologists come down on me, yes, I'm aware that it has more of a fish-like tail than whale-like flukes. This is by design.
Oho, that's an interesting one... It'll be tough to come up with a palette that compliments three different sprites. I would've included a rule that the sprites used can't primarily be green to begin with, though.
