Well, that's the point xD

Mainly it was starting in college, and learning actual programming. It was like, hey, they're teaching me Pascal, which is one of the lamest languages around, and scripting is even more lame.

So hacking suddenly turned uninteresting. Now I'm programming actual games (http://baro.drunkencoders.com/). I've started a zelda-like adventure game and I'm thinking on the design of a easier-to-do game (this one relays too much on collisions and gets complicated).

I'm telling you this because the current game I have in mind as secondary project is a RPG based on Pokemon (catch mons to fight with), with lots of changes in the battle system to make it interesting.

IKR. I wonder how hard the scripting would be. :<

I erally thought it'd be like Advance map, but it wasn't. I dunno how people do that stuff. xDD

Not a whole lot of luck. :O I can't get past the mapping stage. <.> So much for that. So I uninstalled it. =P ROM hacking is the best, and easiest way to modify a game. xD

I think flags are pretty easy to use. Just checkflag and setflag. It's clearflag I don't know what is for. But I don't need it. XD

LOL yeah. IDK how to make a starter pokemon script. I COULD use my knowledge and do it. In my mind, I think I can. I'm making a hack and I'm about to do that. I think you need to know pokepic, yes/no question, givepokemon, and hidesprite. =p And flags of course.

LOL Yeah. I don't like block editing, it's boring. =P So is tile inserting, but they're both real easy to do.

I spotted a tile error in the right top corner of the house in the far right. The tree's bottom isn't there. Unless it's supposed to be like that. =P

No it's not stupid, all you've got to do is read the comments on them and you'd know they're not public. If you're unable to do that then I'd be worried. :|
