Btw, you don't have to respond to all the nonsense I wrote here, haha. I know it's a lot to read, so don't feel obligated at all. I already appreciate everything you've sent me! :p

Ahh, sounds like that could have very much been the reason why.
Well, I don't think he shows his comics to anyone but me, and half the time I don't even understand a lot of what is in them (lol), but I just play along and try to comment on the things I do understand. Does that make me a bad person? Haha. He makes the comics on Paint, and you know that Paint isn't necessarily the best program for making and editing graphics. It's hard for me to comprehend some of the stuff he puts, but whatever. I guess what counts is that I'm actually responding to him in an enthusiastic manner.
Have you attempted to make a ROM hack before? PC is definitely the best place to get the tools and resources you need. I just feel like if I did try, I'd stumble upon so many roadblocks and make a ton of errors because I'm not familiar with any of the programs, but no one's an expert when they first start trying at something. I know the whole process requires a ton of patience, time, and motivation, which I think I have, because, well, I like Pokémon and all, but I'd probably need a team to work alongside with, haha.
I feel as though many teachers shouldn't even be in the teaching profession. There is a certain degree of motivation, persistence, and patience you need to be able to instill knowledge into someone, and many teachers lack in those categories. Although I do get frustrated when I don't understand something right away, I'm naturally determined and do plenty of research until I actually understand what I'm failing at. Many people don't possess that skill and just give up entirely if they don't necessarily comprehend something right off the bat.
Stop being so adorable. :[ Hahaha, I'm glad I at least inspired someone. xD I forgot to add something to my previous reply that I have experienced firsthand, too. Parents often get wayyyyy too involved with their children's college education, and, as a result, their children tend to choose career paths based off of what their parents technically choose for them. Don't let that happen to you! Ha. My mom is always pestering me about how I would make a wonderful pharmacist and all this bs, but all she wants is to see me in a white lab coat. She thinks pharmacists don't do anything all day but count pills, look pretty for customers, and make $100k+ a year. Her perception is extremely distorted. Plus, I don't see myself being a pharmacist at all, anyways. Choose a career that interests you, a career that you can see yourself enjoying in 20 years, and worry about the pay later. :] Damn you sometimes, parents! x)
