Hello Cilerba, could you please re-open my Pokemon Emerald Legend thread from october 25th so that I may post all the information necessary like story, features, screenshots, etc. If you could, that would be great.

That's not the problem at all. My critism was more like you don't actually do anything against a thread being in the wrong section. You only close it, leaving it there. I don't know if it's normal moderation around here, but looking at how a board works, that doesn't resolve anything. If user will use the search function on a specific forum they will miss all the missplaced threads being closed somewhere else, who may happen to contain the solution to their questions/problems. So this moderation is not very useful for future users. And you don't really help the present uses either. First they may be the thread creators and as such, they won't like the closing at all, of course. You will cause them more work than it would be for you to move it to the right section instead of closing the thread. As such, when they realize that, they might start to like you less, to say it nice. Second, if not thread creator, they mostly either do not care of the thread being at the wrong section at all or they do. Latter won't be helped getting a missplaced thread closed in the Game Development Section at all, since there is no hyper activity and as such the closed thread remains visible on the first page of threads for weeks, still being missplaced.

So, since I got your "no clue" that way that you don't actually have a reason for not following my suggestion, I would like you to overthink my reasoning and change your moderation by any chance. Unless, of course, you have some huge points speaking against my reasoning. I would like to hear them, then.

well in that case, what about doing it then, when you have the spare time? Closing a thread which was nice ongoing seems kinda contraproductive and moving sure would be considered a little bit more helpful, just because one don't have to split everything up and post everything again.

I'm wondering, when the ideas don't go into the lounge but into the Beginners Showcae (which seems obvious after your comment and reading the rules a second time (through "idea's" place is not especially mentioned)), why wouldn't you simply move them there instead of just closing the thread and probably spliiting the idea's threads up?
By the way, I would recommend if you could move my idea to the Beginners Showcase too, then.

I was suggesting that Gavin should be a secondary mod to the Game Dev section because I think it would be great if you had someone to help you out. It's not secret the section is messy and it could do with extra care. You are on your own with 4 sub sections lol.

And yeah, I also suggested you when I knew they were looking for another mod at the time (not when I left, I said that to save time rather then explain the whole story) - remember, we had a joke that CP ruled the PC game dev :P

Is the game dev section getting the Essentials section? I thought it would launch with the new year. What's the plan for it?
