Yeah, it would be fine. But what I do is just clone Rare Candies lol. Anyways, for the IV calc, I suggest you go to Marriland and download Nightwing's Ultimate Stat Calculator. It's got a really simple interface, and is nice and easy to use.

If the pokémon has already obtained 510 EVs (check with the Effort Ribbon), then Rare Candies will not affect their stat gain at all. This is because without max EVs, Rare Candies will only level up stats, and not factor in already obtained EVs.

I don't remember the codes though... but I use Fast Hatch, Vitamins, and Cloning.
