I will xD and I still don't understand why Treecko would make the run more difficult .-. If anything, he gas a massive advantage at the first Gym along with Mudkip. The only issue I see with Treecko is Flannery's gym and the Ice one >_>

I think I might try it as soon as my AS is free from whatever challenge I'm doing on it atm xD

I guess you might be right about Emerald, but I still think most of the other games would work, improved skills & mechanics or not.

I really like the concept of your challenge and all, but I really think you could easily adapt it to various other games too, including Emerald and ORAS. I believe the changes aren't SO massive that you couldn't pull it off. Sure, Gym leader rebattles means their teams change and all, but that's noting unusual and one could easily work around that too ^^
