Well yeah that's true, and a good piece of inspiration/advice which I am happy and grateful for. :D
And my teacher from theatre studies last year gave an awesome story which inspired me a bit. He said his cousin went for his scuba certificate for fun, then get a forklift license for a part time job he had, then got a light rigging certificate for future possible jobs. Then, in China, they had an underwater light show, and they needed someone with light rigging experience and scuba experience, and he was like the only person, so he got the job and got paid heaps to set up lights underwater.
So basically, the small things all add up, so if I like practise writing and editing and all these things, as hobbies, which I already do and want to continue, that could end up really beneficial! :D
