  • Nope, turns out it was a shiny Japanese ditto with 5iv from friend safari. How do I tell if it's legit or if the trainer used powersaves 3ds?
I'll have to check the nursery or my boxes, I don't remember which game it was in, but the I've seen 1 of these OT names somewhere in my PC or I mistaken it.
What are the trainer names on those ditto? I may have 1 from you or poke community without even knowing it.
This topic may be getting old, but if you breed a genned pokemon with ditto or a compatible egg group that isn't, would the offspring be considered genned?
What I mean is while it is possible to get 806 max, minus the zeraora in usum since there is no way to get legitimate ones in gen 7 or following generations since it was a 2018 exclusive event.
Well, I do have a plan. Not sure if its a good one. The gen 6 and ultra games could cover 80% of the overall dex. Even if it has to be multiple replays. Missing would be version exclusive legendaries, mythicals, galarian dex, and the paldean dex.
I'm not sure if you're the right person to ask for this. Would you happen to know tips on completing a living dex for home or any of the switch games? Pokemon home could pose a challenge, while any of the switch games seem a bit more manageable and tame. If not who do I ask?
This sort of problem alienates trainers who are just looking for an honest trade. I know the solution is just to buy all legitimate games and catch the Pokemon missing from the dex. The price on getting everything between ruby to violet has the hefty pricetag. Especially gba and DS prices because they're considered retro yet desirable and in demand.
But a bidoof? I mean come on. That's a super common Pokemon that reaches meme status. Nobody would suspect this would be badly genned, cause it had no prior use competitively and in DPPT used as an hm slave. Not sure in BDSP and other switch games that have bidoof, probably even did away with hms.
I just fear that a random unassuming lv 3 bidoof will get me banned from home or turn into a bad egg and label me as a hacker, which is ridiculous.
Oh and 1 thing about roms and rom hacks. I assume that those don't register as normal catches, because those are edited versions of the same games, but meant as fan games for any device that can support them... Do you by any chance know a moderator who knows about roms and rom hacks?
I know this by experience, I think with ds carts and r4 carts. If this is what poor trades refer to, I trade with a friend who has r4 platinum and his game often crashes mid union room.
Is that so? I looked at 2 different sides of the story. 1 video showed a successful trade between a fake gba copy to a real 1. And the other just crashed both games. That was just a gba example. Gba to pal park with fake games to my knowledge doesn't really work, because it doesn't recognize it as an official gba cartridge.
Thanks for the advice. You may not know the answer for this, but what about fake cartridge games, r4s, roms, or hacked versions of roms? Are the pokemon caught by any of these means formated for Pokhex, pokegenned, or do they register as normal catches?
Ok just wondering, 'cause I was randomly wonder trading and got a shiny mew from this hacker.
Do you know anything about trading bot pokemon? Such as stringsytube? Does he badly generate hacked mons?
Ok thanks for the info. And 1 last question does the cloning service do a good job at making convincing clones to go through home albeit Nintendo switch and 3ds clones.
