  • Ohh, I see what you see. That could easily just be another car, this is a highway after all. But let's say for the sake of argument, it is the airplane. Why wasn't anything similar seen in the first video footage of that video? Surely you would have been able to see something happen, a blur or a flash or some sort, because the "airplane" in the second video seems to flash in the light before hitting the Pentagon. Or at least that's what I notice.

I don't know what you mean by "status," but they are part of the same terrorist act so they are quite similar...

I don't really think their main concern was to cover up any fluids. I mean, if it was to ensure the health and safety of those who frequent the Pentagon on a daily or weekly basis, I highly doubt any of them actually went back to work the next day after something like that happened, haha. I think they covered it up to cover up any evidence against the possibility of an airplane. Simply so that discussions like these can never be settled, because their decision both strengthens my argument and yours at the same time.
I do not see any airplane, my friend. :\ Try to describe what you see a little more and I'll try to find it. Science in the sense of an opposite to morality. The scientific and logical proof. What bothers me most about the Pentagon's situation is the fact that, as that video you linked me states, the Pentagon was surveilled by more cameras than any other building in the world (idk if that's true, but we can both definitely agree that it is very heavily surveilled). Why would the government immediately confiscate those videos? Is it to keep people from seeing such brutal images? No, because then they would have cut off all media coverage of the Twin Tower attacks and confiscated all videos of their surveillance, too. Furthermore, they immediately covered up the crash site with sand and gravel to cover up exactly that: forensic proof. Which there wasn't any of. Which would have proven that there was no plane crash.
No, of course it explodes, but I meant in at least one frame, you would be able to see it. These cameras aren't total crap. You would have at least been able to see a gray blur of some sort, or the airplane coming to an incredibly fast stop from 500mph upon impact.

And no, I'm sorry, but I find that person helps my case much more than it helps yours. :\ Honestly, I know I'm never going to be able to change your mind about this, but I figure I argue with people who bring it up with me because, hey, maybe I can. But in the end it's all a question of what do you believe is stronger? Morals or science? You think morals, I think science. Simple as that.

Do you live in the states? Because then I would understand why you would naturally want to believe morals over science.
People in power will do ridiculous things to make these types of things happen. I'm sorry but we both have worded arguments to which we both cannot prove because we both have a different view of what the government would and would not do. Unfortunately, by showing me that video you can give me even more proof that 9/11 was an inside job. First of all, no matter how bad the frame rate might be on the first video footage, a Boeing 757 is much longer and would have stuck out in that explosion's radius. Think about it, the plane would not have just disappeared off the face of the earth when it crashed and exploded, you would have seen a lot of debris. But no, apparently it was all vaporized, at a degree that jet fuel does not even burn? The autoignition temperature of jet fuel is 410 degrees Fahrenheit. Does that truly seem hot enough, to you, to vaporize an entire airplane?

Secondly, the second video footage. I want you to notice the pedestrian walking at the far left of the video, on the street. He looks like he's just minding his own business, and BAM an explosion happens and he starts freaking out and running away. Now, do you not think that someone would SEE the airplane coming towards the Pentagon at incredibly high speeds? And before you tell me "maybe he was looking the other way," do you not think he would hear it too? This person does not show signs of any airplane crashing into the pentagon, only the normal reaction that someone would have after hearing a random loud explosion.

Good job linking me to a video that, by nature, is on my side, though, lol.
also, to answer your question to The Cynic, the motive the government would have had that would result in them killing three thousand innocent lives is simple. They needed to manipulate the public opinion in order to have them think differently, influence their thoughts, to then have them agree with the government's "righteous" reaction to such a tragedy. Immediately after 9/11, Bush declared war on Afghanistan and Iraq. Thankfully, many people were at least outraged about the war on Iraq because it was so clear that Bush's claim of there being weapons of mass destruction in the country was not true.
yes, I honestly believe that the USA had a very corrupt government at the time, I hope that it isn't anymore but who knows. Simple logic does not prove those theories wrong because what do you really know about the government? And please, do link me to the video where you see the pentagon getting hit by an airplane.
There is a great deal of evidence for both arguments of course and a lot of the "conspiracy nutters" have the most ridiculous arguments for why it was no Al-Queda but to me, the whole thing just has quite a sickening vibe about it all.

The US in its very nature is an incredibly protective nation. Why were defense protocols not followed? US military and other authorities planned or actually rehearsed defensive response to all elements of the 9/11 scenario during the year prior to the attack - including multiple hijackings, suicide crashbombings, a plane crashing into a government building, a large-scale emergency in New York and a strike on the Pentagon.

How was it possible the Pentagon was hit 1 hour and 20 minutes after the attacks began? Why was there no response from Andrews Air Force Base, just 10 miles away and home to Air National Guard units charged with defending the skies above the nation''s capital? How did Hani Hanjour, a man who failed as a Cessna pilot on his first flight in a Boeing, execute a difficult aerobatic maneuver to strike the Pentagon? Why did the attack strike the just-renovated side, which was largely empty and opposite from the high command?

When I see images of the towers coming down the bulding should peel like a banana, but instead it collapses downwards much like in a controlled explosion. Furthermore, why did WTC 7 collapse downwards in such a controlled manner?

The final thing I will mention at this point - and this is the most eerie of all - is that, as a Physics student, I know fine well that cell phones do not work at 30,000 feet in the air.

Nonetheless, it was still a great international tradgedy.

Can't say I really care about it, to be honest. Sammi'll handle it if she doesn't approve of it.

Eh. It's a thread in OVP. I don't know why you did that when I clearly stated it was frowned upon in OVP and it's also written in the rules.
    P
    *nod nod* A little confused.

In certain boards, no. If you post something with a misleading name in OVP, for example, it's frowned upon and often changes on you. If you post a thread with a misleading name in something like New Users, then it's okay. I would just avoid it and post a thread with a thread title relating to the content of the thread. It's not an infractable offense, though, so it doesn't really matter that much.
