  • No problem, cooley.

If you feel like deleting it go right ahead I have the image saved already!
Well, I hope you can see this when you get back...

I can't beta test for you until I get everything back, and get a laptop.
My computer decided to give up on life...sorry... :(
Well there is still a problem, i didn't show it though.

    _______________
To enable running shoes on a map you...
Go into A-map and go to Header View... Make sure you aren't in Pro View...
Under the drop down menu with the list of town names (and such) it says: "Show name on Entering"
with a drop down menu under that...

    [KEY: Y = YES, N = NO]
To run indoors select "02 ???" Run? [Y], Name [N]
To run outdoors with the name shown select "Show Village Names" Run? [Y], Name? [Y]
To not run at all select "Do not show name" Run? [N], Name [N]

This is for FireRed, of course! :D

Aghh... Cooley, i need your help again!
I've done a script, but it just needs some fixing up, like the others.
Hey buddy?ive posted my hack thread already, you might want to take a glance ^^
    ----------------------------------
    How's youre hack been doing?
Just got my internet back after about 5 days, and I'm done with the map. I don't think you'll like it that much though. Lots of custom tiles in it.
Yeah I know what you mean. I've tried for hours on end before with little luck. Once I ever get somewhere the rom crashes.
Hey Cooley I just looked at the Rom Revearz thread and saw that you can edit title screens. Do you think you could help/teach me? I've tried tile mapping and palette editing but I can't get it right. Or do you know of a simple tutorial to help me? Thanks in advance.
It may take a while with the map as I'm not at the Computer as much as usual right now, the weather is great (no, but my birthday is coming up and all (lots of stuff happening in my life with Harry Potter premiere and such events), so yea)
I'm attempting working on one with a friend - he's doing most things, but I'm doing things like reprogramming PKSV (and making it user-friendlier in places too) and researching tables (I've found, for FR and LG, the pointers to the move tutor tables (setvar 0x8005 [table index], special 0x18D) and the sethealingplace map tables. Now I wonder if I can implement any of these into PKSV...)
Cool,I have edited it once (last year during my newbie days)
I think,Okay iam gonna look for it.
Thanks,Good Luck with your hack and Take Care!
    Darn,i forgot to tell ya...

i used CS4 but it didnt work...lemme try again..
anyway how's yore hack doing?Just wondering..
Do u know where is the world map tilemap located?
Yeah, I gave up when I couldn't find any data about the map offsets or their many formats and intricacies...
Anyway, thanks for reminding me, here's my comments on the subject (literally)
