On my first playthrough of a game, I always use my starter, but after that I almost never do. Probably because I'm most likley doing a challenge or I don't feel compelled to use it.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Grass/Flying type, Fire/Poison type, and a Water/Dark type. Animal wise, I would love to see a starter based on a Kangaroo. The only downside I can think of is the fact that it would most likely have a secondary type of fighting. And that's just what we want...

As hard as it is going to be, I am going to do everything in my power to limit myself to just seeing the starters once they are revealed, and then that is it.
