  • xD You saying canonising makes me think of the Christian version, and it's kinda the same in this case because Derpy is almost the patron saint of the fandom. An actual, in-show shout-out to the upper age demographic that's been made official by the producers. In effect, they've canonised her. :P

    Also herobrine... =D
    is ****ing creepy. D:

When I first read about him on the wiki, this was the quote that creeped me out the most.
    Also, new avatar. <3
The artist's art style is amazingly perfect for ponies.
Nah, Derpy's not so bad a name when you consider the fact that ponies have been known to name their kids absurd names like 'Filthy Rich' and or 'Pipsqueak'. I'd say Pipsqueak is the cruelest name ever. It's like, your kid's smaller than the average filly (maybe he's younger, idk) and to add insult to injury you name him Pipsqueak? Is he going to be a runt forever? xD
    <3 Raise Your Weapon.

Also, the fandom rejoiced. Chatroom activity while The Last Roundup was showing skyrocketed when Derpy became canon and got her own voice. Not too fond of the voice myself though. I kind of imagined her with a higher-pitched voice, not the stereotypical idiot voice. Still, Derpy, man. Derpy.
    "Oh my god, Shoes!" xD

    *high-fives* Awesome, and, actually, you're right. :/
He doesn't look weird with the beard.

In other news, Deadmau5's 'Raise Your Weapon' feat. Greta Svabo Bech is just ****ing amazing, mostly because of the vocals and the lyrics, they're just, gah. So amazing. I've been imagining making an animated music video to RYW, and it'd also be amazing. It's gonna start with a panning shot of a dystopian city and cut to a a girl in a tank top and khakis. Then she goes out with a megaphone and jeep and zooms through the street basically rallying the people to rise up with the chorus 'raaaise your weapon' playing in the background. Then epic fight sequence at the drop with guns and ****. And, ph my God, I'm going to write some kind of script. =D
Well, plotwise they've raped it, but standalone, if Dante never wrote Inferno, it would be a pretty original concept. Yeah, but I see what you mean. I'd prefer a purer game based on philosophy that isn't boring. xD

Oh, you and your crucifixes. xD
There's this thing I live under. It's quite large and obtrusive. It's called a rock. xP

    That actually looks pretty awesome.
This is why I never get anywhere in any of my projects. :(
    My very own procrastination.

At the risk of sounding like a pretentious gaming critic, Luminesca looks pretty sweet, but it's not really like Limbo save for the art though. Limbo's more... intriguing. I think.
I looked at that without context because I forgot what I said in the last VM.
At first I was like, lolwat. Then I was like oh after checking the VM. But then, I looked at the rest of your VM and was, again, like lolwat? xD

In other news, after watching a bit of Limbo on youtube I:
    1. want it.
    2. feel like we should be making an artistic side scroller like Limbo. That would be incredible.
Decadence is a tasty word. :3
So is Opulence, but for good reason.
    Spoiler:
But I like the books, though I read them without the Christian context because, well, I was younger when I read all of them. Tbh, it's not so much a muslim-centric prejudice in the Horse and His Boy as much as it is some kind of pan-Arabic racism. I mean, the religion they have there, IIRC, was polytheistic. And usually if anyone was to be prejudice towards Islam in fiction, they'd just use the crazy messenger allegory.
But yeah, point is I read them all. It's probably just me liking spiritual stuff or things of that nature.

Like, last Christmas, I went to a carol service at a cathedral just for the experience. =D
It was pretty good actually. The songs I mean. Not the Christianity aspect. It was a cultural experience.

    Also, I'll say this again:
    Harold. :(
Man, it's been so long since I've read it that I don't even know who Tom Bombadil is anymore. He sounds familiar though.
But yeah, I'm willing to give most books a go, so I might just pick up LoTR in the near future.

Now if we're talking about Tolkien's contemporaries. C.S. Lewis and his Narnia were much more amazing than Middle Earth to be honest. Shame about the films.
That reminds me, you know what else I haven't finished reading? Lord of the Rings. All of them. I got to the talking trees and that was about it.

And yeah, my mind went from Pottermore -> Last Source Material -> Do Want -> My Precious -> Gollum -> Lord of the Rings -> Haven't finished it yet. :/
The last source material of a fandom that defined a generation. I await the time when I can play it with bated breath.
Not all of it (caught in on tv once), but I know there's a twist ending. I have time-ish in the next few days though. I'll find it.
    I'm fighting capitalism! *fist-pump*
Imagine you buy a special apple from someone for an exorbitant amount of money. This person can make as many apples as he wants without having to worry about modal costs or overhead costs because it's a magic apple. Now imagine you lose said apple and go ask for another one. The seller however, asks you to buy another one, even though he literally does not need to spend any money or effort to get you another one. If you pay him, you've given him double the profit for the apple. If you steal the apple, he hasn't lost anything. In fact, you'll probably be on the losing side because the apple might have worms or it might take you some effort to break into his stall and get another one. On the plus side, you won't have to pay for it and to settle your conscience you've already paid for it.

This is also part of my continuing fight against credit card companies and private insurance companies. xD
Was because I don't have it anymore. :(
Not on this computer at least.
Worms Armageddon was the ****, definitely the ****. It was so amazing. SUPER SHEEP, **** yeah. I should probably download it or something. I mean, I've bought it legally before, so I do still own the right to play it. =D
I remember playing House of the Dead (the PC version) and you could actually change the colour of blood for the zombies. That was a minor yay point, but it quickly got annoying when the game glitched for some reason and blood got stuck at yellow forever. I have no idea how that happened.

Worms Armageddon had a hidden blood setting IIRC. Speaking of which, Worms was an amazing game.
